Day 1 UK to Split Depart the UK on your flight to Split and on arrival, board MS Mama Marija II for a seven-night voyage to Dubrovnik. You can embark at any time of the day with cabins ready from 1pm. Tonight there will be a welcome meeting before dinner is served on board. D.

Day 2 Trogir Your first full day will begin with a guided walking tour of Split. You’ll get to see the cultural and historical sights of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed city including the world-famous 4th-Century Diocletian’s Palace, which forms about half of Split’s Old Town. At midday, your ship will set sail for another UNESCO World Heritage site: the fascinating town of Trogir. Lunch will be served on board and we’ll make a stop so that you can swim in the warm waters before we reach Trogir in the afternoon. A guide will take you on a walking tour around this town that’s known for its ancient palaces, churches, monasteries and towers. The star attraction is the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, which has the finest examples of sacral architecture in Croatia. This evening will be free for you to wander around the town and have dinner in one of the charming taverns. B, L.

Day 3 Bol & Vis This morning we’ll set sail for Bol, which is home to one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches. Zlatni Rat (nicknamed ‘Golden Horn’ for its shape) is a stunning sandbar that extends into the sea for almost half a mile. In Bol, you’ll have time to explore this small Dalmatian town or go for a swim until lunch is served on board the ship. After lunch, we’ll carry on cruising to the lesser-visited destination of Vis – a former military stronghold, with tranquil beaches and traditional architecture. There’s also the option to add on a late afternoon Vis Island Tour excursion to see more of the area’s landscapes by coach. The evening will be free for you to find a local restaurant where you can have dinner. B, L.

Day 4 Biševo & Hvar Our first stop today is the island of Biševo, famed for its remarkable Blue Cave. The Blue Cave is a 24-metre-long water-logged cave that can only be reached by boat and it’s particularly magical when the sun’s rays turn the water a luminous blue (cave visit will be dependent on the tides). After stopping for a swim and lunch, we’ll cruise along the region’s bays and coves towards the popular island of Hvar. A guided walking tour of this glittering town will introduce you to the history and local way of life such as the tradition of lavender farming. The evening is free for you to explore and find a charming family-run restaurant for your dinner. B, L.

Day 5 Korčula The ship will leave Hvar this morning and sail towards the island of Korčula. We’ll stop at one of the pristine bays for a swim before lunch, then continue on to Korčula in the afternoon. Korčula Town is famous as the birthplace of intrepid explorer Marco Polo and you’ll find out more about his life and the town’s attractions on a guided walking tour around the cobbled streets. Later, enjoy a free evening and take advantage of the many family-owned restaurants that dot the town. B, L.

Day 6 Šipan Island or Slano We’ll set sail this morning and cruise towards Mljet National Park, where there are crystal-clear waters and lush pine forests. There will be time to explore, so you could walk around the Great and Small saltwater lakes, visit the peaceful islet of Saint Mary or go swimming in the national park. Lunch will be served on board, then we’ll head off to our next destination, which will either be the island of Šipan or Slano on the Dubrovnik Riviera. If we anchor off Slano, there will be the chance for an optional excursion to the fortified town of Ston. Back on board, the highlight tonight is the Captain’s Dinner with delicious food and live music. B, L, D.

Day 7 Dubrovnik This morning, the ship will set off for Dubrovnik, passing the Elaphiti islands en route. After lunch on board, we’ll cruise past the city walls and fortifications right into the historical heart of Dubrovnik, for an unforgettable arrival. This is a dream photo opportunity! We’ll disembark in the Old Town, where a guide will be waiting to show you the sights. There will also be plenty of time for you to explore independently, perhaps visiting the city walls, taking the cable car up to the top of Mount Srđ or seeking out the best place for your final evening meal in Croatia. B, L.

Day 8 Dubrovnik After breakfast, say your farewells and disembark the ship for your transfer to the airport and return flight to the UK. B.
