Your suggested itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi
Touchdown in the vibrant capital Nairobi, where you can relax and explore the city at your own pace, perhaps taking an optional visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi National Park. Overnight at Fairmont The Norfolk hotel.
Day 2 – 5 Maasai Mara
Fly to the world-famous Maasai Mara, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world. Stay in one of the Maasai Mara’s most luxurious 5-star tented camps. During the day, head out on game drives in search of big cats and a whole host of other wildlife. Take to the skies on an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari spotting crocodiles, hippos and elephants below. Because you are staying in a private conservancy you will also be able to take the opportunity to explore with night-time game drives as well as a guided walking safari. This is a luxury retreat also, so between your game drives relax in the award winning spa and relax in your private hot tub in your enormous safari tent. Overnight at Mara Bushtops
Day 6 – 12 Zanzibar
Fly back to Nairobi in a light aircraft, where you’ll transfer to the international airport for your short flight to Zanzibar. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of Mt Kilimanjaro from the window of your plane as you fly over the highest mountain in Africa en route to the Spice Island.
On arrival at Zanzibar airport you will be transferred to your luxury hotel ready to enjoy the next 7 nights. Five-star luxury awaits in this fabulous design hotel set on one of the best beaches on the island. Zuri Zanzibar is surrounded by abundant greenery, offering a sense of privacy and comfortable seclusion.
