A secluded and luxury apartment complex on the renowned Abama golf course, with wonderful sea views.
This gem of a resort in Guía de Isora is a great think-outside-the-box option, just a six-minute drive from tiny Playa de Abama and with the feel of a luxury hotel. But there’s a twist – it’s made up of exclusive one- to three-bedroom apartments, set between the first two holes of the world-famous Abama golf course with its white-sand bunkers, lakes linked by waterfalls and 25,000 palm trees. Winding walkways lead to a long, slim pool and the suites have white-washed walls, sloping roofs and open terraces. Settle in and soak up the average year-round temperature of 23°C and views over La Gomera and the Atlantic Ocean.
The apartments are on a self-catered room-only basis, but you can still treat yourself to breakfast and dining at the on-site Melvin Restaurant. There’s a beautiful al fresco terrace as well as a Spanish-cuisine menu designed by twelve-Michelin-starred-chef Martín Berasategui, featuring a great range of creative and freshly made dishes.
The suites here are spectacular and have stylish features including marble flooring. Each comes with a private terrace, many with views over the golf course or the sea. They also have state-of-the-art kitchens and dining areas, perfect if you’re self-catering – the nearest supermarket is just a 10-minute drive away in San Juan. For more space and added luxury, we recommend upgrading to a Two or Three Bedroom Standard Suite.
