Curtain Bluff

Timeless island luxury

A luxurious yet laid-back all-inclusive resort set on a bluff overlooking two beautiful beaches.

Originally designed as a private residence and exclusive hotel for the owner’s family and friends, this intimate and friendly property has developed into one of the island’s most coveted resorts. With stunning views, world-class service and impressive green credentials, it’s no surprise that the hotel attracts repeat guests and A-listers and boasts a number of prestigious awards – it was voted 3rd in the '25 Best Resort Hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas 2019' by readers of US publication Travel & Leisure. The excellent kids’ club and extensive facilities make this a superb option for multigenerational families – there’s everything from basketball and squash courts and a world-class tennis centre with four championship courts to waterskiing (with equipment and tuition all included).

Why we love Curtain Bluff

The resort is renowned for its sensational cuisine and award-winning restaurants and all meals are included so you don’t need to pay any supplements. The refurbished Tamarind Restaurant serves breakfast and candlelit dinners, and The Seagrape does barefoot casual lunches and romantic dinners overlooking the ocean. Spend the evening dancing under the moonlight as live bands perform on the terrace.

The Sea Grape
The Sea Grape is the resort's open-air restaurant for lunch and a weekly beach barbecue. If you prefer, Bento boxes can be served to your beach cabana or poolside. Dinner is served at The Sea Grape on some evenings where you can try a fusion of Antiguan and Italian cuisine.

The Tamarind Restaurant
Start your day with a breakfast of banana pancakes or eggs benedict at the main Tamarind Restaurant. Dinner here is a five-course menu followed by live music and dancing on the terrace.

The Wine Cellar
With over 4000 labels, The Wine Cellar is one of Antigua's most impressive. Tours of the cellar can be arranged and the sommelier will help you select bottles to pair with your meals.

What's included

All Inclusive • All meals, room service and minibar items • Drinks including premium brands • Watersports including kayaking, windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, twice daily snorkelling trips to Cades Reef, scuba diving (for certified divers) • Aerobics classes, yoga and Pilates • Tennis, squash, golf putting green and equipment

The Curtain Bluff spa hangs on the water’s edge at the end of the bluff, providing an indulgent 465m² space for relaxation and revitalisation. The spa has 5 treatment rooms, an open-air relaxation room with unbeatable ocean views, a huge infinity-edge hot tub and trained treatment therapists. Choose from an array of treatments including signature facials, a Caribbean green coffee wrap and sabai stone therapy, or alternatively book a special spa package to receive a luxurious massage, facial, pedicure, shampoo, style and deep conditioning treatment.

For those who don't just want to lie on the beach there is an air-conditioned squash court, a half basketball court for shooting hoops and a court for pickleball.

As well as a swimming pool with two lap lanes, there is plenty to keep you busy on the water. Waterskiing, wakeboarding, aqua aerobics and daily snorkelling trips are just some of the water-based activities available.

A daily range of fun activities is available for children at the Cee Bee Kids Camp. Games, crafts and the popular crab racing will keep them busy throughout the day.

Early dinners are available at the Tamarind Restaurant and if parents want to enjoy the evening entertainment, a member of staff can look after the children.

The Cee Bee Kids Camp offers a great range of activities for children aged 3 to 10 years. In a shaded pavilion near the beach, children can play on the swings, slides and tree house and participate in a number of activities, from mocktail-making and local arts and crafts to crab racing and fishing. Older children can participate in the resort’s endless sports activities, and even receive lessons at a local charge from tennis and watersports pros.

Minimum age for Terrace Pool Suites, Cliff Pool Suites and the Morris and Grace Suites.

Minimum stay: 7 nights 19 Dec-02 Jan.

A number of steps lead up to the Terrace Suite, Bluff Rooms and One Bedroom Bluff Suites so they are unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
