Restaurants & bars
You can dine at six restaurants and bars on the all-inclusive meal plan, with plenty of choice to suit your mood and palate. The renovated Palms Restaurant offers international buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gaze out over the ocean and rustling palms at Bambou which boasts a water’s edge setting and offers al fresco dining with a buffet-style breakfast, light lunches, and à la carte Asian fusion and contemporary Caribbean cuisine for dinner.
Feast on fresh seafood and grilled dishes over the water at Morgan's Pier where you can enjoy dinner while watching boats bobbing on the horizon. The casual Plum Tree Bar & Grill is conveniently located on the family pool deck and is perfect for light meals, snacks and a range of drinks. Tree Tops Pizza and Pasta is the latest addition to the resort’s dining portfolio and this casual terrace restaurant serves pizza, pasta and salad cooked and prepared to order. For a supplement, you can enjoy an intimate dinner at Le Jardin, a sophisticated French Creole restaurant which serves delicious steaks with a pianist on hand to provide a romantic ambience.
The Choc Bay Café offers speciality teas and coffees plus a tempting range of homemade savoury and sweet pastries. Swim straight up to the Lazy Lagoon Pool Bar to order fruity cocktails and ice-cold beers. Admire sweeping sea views and beautiful sunsets from the adults-only Hilltop Pool Bar or sip rum punch at the SandPIT on the beach. The Sunset Bar & Lounge is the social hub of the resort with daytime activities and vibrant entertainment in the evening, from local bands to limbo dancers.
The hotel's all-inclusive children's program offers many activities for potty-trained (and able to communicate) children ages 2 to 11, allowing you to relax and take in the tranquil St. Lucian surroundings, or have a romantic evening together. Little ones can enjoy a range of activities including karaoke, video games, beach games, board games, films and volleyball. The Kids' Club is open daily from 9:00am-5:45pm and 7:00pm-10:00pm (hours subject to change).
What’s nearby? The capital of Castries is about a 10-minute taxi ride away, or you can get to Bay Walk Shopping Mall in about 15 minutes. We love the hotel’s Pink Panther safari tour* – it costs extra, but it’s a great way for families to explore the island with an expert guide on-hand.
Tried and tested The daytime kids’ club caters for children aged two (if potty trained) up to age 11. There’s also an evening session for kids aged 4 to 11, which runs until 10pm. The hotel’s spa has no minimum age if accompanied by an adult, so it’s a great option for older children.
The sleeping arrangements We recommend the spacious Family Suites – they’re made up of two interconnecting Garden View Rooms, with a king-size bed in one room and double beds in the other. They sleep four adults, or two adults and three children up to 11. Elsewhere, bear in mind there’s a minimum age of 12 in Ocean View Rooms and Deluxe Ocean View Rooms, and 16 in Exclusive Kuoni Spa Beachfront Rooms.
