Exceeded all expectations!
Overall, this is a best in class hotel - one of the best I have ever stayed at. It's new, luxurious (but in a toned down stylish way), the rooms are just amazing in all aspects, breakfast is mindblowing, staff helpful and relaxed, the pool and the service around the pool flawless etc - see below. This brand new hotel is situated quite far from Limassol city centre, but that's really ok as the hotel amenities are more than adequate for a long stay on site. A welcoming glass of prosecco at check-in and an accompanying tour of the hotel, the room and its amenities set the standard from the beginning and the rest of my stay was an equally pleasant surprise. All rooms are facing the sea and are among the biggest I have ever stayed at (I would say approximately 45-50 sqm). The bathroom is huge and all marble with Le Labo toiletries, a rain forest shower and a bathtub. Room service is attentive, quick and the pricing is reasonable for this kind of hotel. The minibar is in addition complimentary (no alcoholic beverages). Breakfast is ridiculous (in a good way). Think table service with a huge buffet divided in different stations. There's really everything here and reminded me of the five star hotel breakfasts in East Asia rather than simple European styled buffets. There is a huge SPA at the hotel with an outdoor salt water pool and all kinds of treatments on offer, but I didn't try any of them. Expect these to be on the pricier side. There is also a reasonably sized gym just below the pool deck. The "regular pool" is set around a paved patio and an enormous garden overlooking the sea with a bar and a restaurant. The pool is actually two pools oriented around the pool bar, both of which are of infinity design - however not heated which might not be a problem in Cyprus during the summer months. Staff around the pool bar is kind, attentive and relaxed - regularly joking and remembering your name. Pricing around the pool bar is more than ok (cocktails are around 10-15 euros, a bottle of prosecco is around 35-40 euros etc). The ambiance is grown up even if children are present. Restaurant-wise there are three hotel restaurants, all of which are pretty good. Food is of high quality, and the wine list exhaustive, however the service could be more attentive in this price range (we are talking about minimum 80-100 euros pp for a dinner including a reasonably priced glass of wine or two). Reception staff is all you could ask for and never seem to be busy helping you with whatever request you might have. They arranged for transportation, PCR-testing, restaurant reservations and various queries without the smallest of hickups. If you can afford it, you should consider it! And yes, the wifi is free of charge and actually works as expected.
It does not matter what suite or room you book: it is always SEASIDE! Michelin Star Restaurant, although it is kids-friendly you will always find tranquillity and high quality ambience. Compared to other five star hotels the AMARA hotel has an outstanding service concept which contains premium service and staff, highly sophisticated and appealing interior design which is really state of the art: AND of course with Mrs Nicolaou the most professional and beautiful Hotel Manager I ever came to know! If you once stay in the Amara Hotel, it is certain that you hardly want to leave.
Best hotel, best service , best staff 😍😍😍
This is simply the best hotel i have been to ...and i have seen A LOT , due to my constant traveling for business. We live 1km away, are members here and come to enjoy a week end here and there . The staff is fantastic , always very dedicated to please us , my wife or my 3 years old daughter. The rooms are amazing, i highly recommend the duplex with the pool on the roof to have amazing experience, fantastic view.... the restaurents are just the best in cyprus weather its nobu, locatelli or Armyra ( Armyra is still our first choice 😅😅 ) The indoor pool is perfect to have a nice sauna time ( my only complain is no jaccuzi abd no steambath ). Sifis is the As always here to help !!! But same goes for Maya, and everyone , i just can’t remember all names 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Best hotel ever , don’t hesitate to book !!!!
We stayed at the Amara for a weekend. I can comfortably say that it is one of the best hotels in Cyprus. It is brand new, stylish with a modern design. our room was spacious with a very large bathroom and uninterrupted sea view... the hotel has all the necessary facilities with an incredible spa and gym, amazing pool area, kids club, areas designated for business meetings, a garden for your morning or afternoon tea or coffee... a large selection of foods for breakfast.. the chef ensured to that he prepares poached eggs for my wife just how she likes them... there is a variety of restaurants within the hotel... we visited the armyra (fish restaurant) and locatelli (Michelin star Italian restaurant) where the food and service are close to impeccable... what makes Amara so special are the hotel staff who will go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy every minute of your stay... many thanks to Maya who made our stay special, together with all her colleagues Dorina, Veliko, Biljana, Lina and everybody else working at the Amara!!! We will certainly come again!
Great fresh modern place in Limassol
Amara is indeed one of the best places to stay in Limassol in 2021. The hotel is brand new and this is what you like, looks and feels very fresh and classy. Simply loved our Junior Suite, I guess its best value for money for a small family (2 rooms plus a huge veranda with sunbeds and 180 degrees sea view). Would recommend considering this room type upgrade. Our 9 month old baby girl enjoyed the indoor swimming pool for the first time in her life, great memories will stay with us) Big thanks once again to hotel and the team, with pleasure reviewed the hotel in my Instagram acc dima.prokipr, you can see the videos there. Will come again soon!
