Restaurants & bars

Glass walls encircle the oval-shaped dining space of the Alfred Keller restaurant – named after the architect behind Villa Alhambra. A smattering of suspended lights illuminates the white-linen tables and leather tub chairs.

The island’s famed herbs are used to flavour creative dishes of Adriatic fish, Cres lamb and Istrian boškarin beef, paired with wines by the resident sommelier (or you can pick from the 400-plus bottles yourself). The fine-dining venue was listed in the Gault et Millau guide, cementing its reputation as a destination restaurant.

For a more casual experience, Pasara is an open-sided bistro tucked away in Čikat Bay. Open in the warmer months, it serves up fresh fish and seafood is on the menu, along with gleaming sea views.
