What a restful place!
My wife and I entered Antigua with less than 24 hours notice, and Blue Waters made us welcome. The place is top notch. But the people really make the place, the staff are so competent, thoughtful, proactive, confident and pleasant, that they really stand out from our extensive experience of the Carribean. Thank you, staff, if you read this.
A lovely day pass at Blue Waters Resort
We booked a day pass directly by calling the resort as we were on the NCL Epic with a stop in Antigua on Thursday, 3/12. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and were in awe of this magnificent and well-appointed resort. This review is specific to the lobby area, pools, beach and Carolyn's. We opted for the non-inclusive option as we were only there for about 5 hours (an amazing 5 hours!). This place is gorgeous! We enjoyed 2 different beaches and the pool near Carolyn's with comfy lounge chairs, gentle lapping waves along the soft sandy beach, while enjoying mainly sun and some short rain showers too. The banana daiquiri was fantastic, as was the flatbread pizza at Carolyn's. We really didn't want to leave, abd we truly look forward to returning for an extended stay in the future.
Our wedding was amazing!
We live in Toronto, Canada but own a Cottage in Antigua within a 5 minute drive to the Blue Waters resort. We got married at the cliff-top Gazebo last week and it couldn't have been more perfect! It was like a dream with the exquisite bougainvillea archway, the white gauze curtains swaying in the balmy breeze, the gorgeous turquoise Caribbean Sea behind us and palm trees all around the cobblestone pathway! Mandie, the fantastic wedding coordinator set everything up for us, and made it an effortless and wonderful day which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. She is such a lovely caring person with a calm, soothing and friendly personality, and we felt like we had known her for a long time, right from my first contact with her over the phone from Canada. She took care of all of the details and paperwork. Once we arrived in Antigua, we literally met with her only once, two days before the ceremony and then just showed up for the big day and everything went off without a hitch, and added extra unexpected touches. I cannot say enough good things about this wedding venue and wedding coordinator ;)
A Wonderful Day Pass!
We had an unplanned stay in Antigua and through Trip Advisor discovered Blue Waters. The grounds were beautiful and there were many water sports options. We had an excellent meal by the infinity pool. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We'll be back!
Made our wedding experience magical
We had been to Blue Waters previously and it made perfect sense to get married there this February on their beautiful ocean bluff. Not only is this a boutique hotel experience to begin with - staff know you and address you by name - but the wedding experience was bliss. We were blown away by the level of attention and detail that each and every member of staff and management extended to us whole-heartedly. They went so above and beyond our expectations. If you have the opportunity to stay in the Cove Suites, we would highly recommend it. Private pool for each building of suites and poolside service is so luxurious. Our Cove Suites manager Toriefa chatted with us daily and was so lovely and accommodating to our every request (and there were many as my husband is detail oriented!). Thank you Kevin, Jasper, Carolyn, Tremaine, Pearl, Monique, Kelisha and more. Mandie our wedding planner, you made every detail perfect, grateful for you! You are all truly amazing. I only wish we could do it again. With thanks and our best regards, Mr and Mrs Robert Stone
