Day 1 UK to Dubrovnik
Depart the UK on your flight to Croatia and on arrival, board MS Splendid for a seven-night journey along the idyllic South Dalmatian Coast. You can embark at any time of the day with cabins ready from 1pm. Tonight there will be a welcome meeting before dinner is served on board. D.
Day 2 Dubrovnik
Your first full day will begin with an exploration of Dubrovnik. Head up into the hills above the city for an incredible panoramic view of terracotta roofs and the rugged coastline. Return back to sea level and join a guide on a walking tour of Dubrovnik’s historic centre. There will be some free time to explore at leisure before re-boarding the boat at midday. Lunch will be served as you sail towards the town of Slano, a pretty spot on the Dubrovnik Riviera. There will be a swim stop as you make your way along the coast. B, L.
Day 3 Mljet National Park
This morning you will cruise towards the breathtaking Mljet National Park where you'll have some free time to explore. Perhaps walk around the Great and Small Lakes, or visit the peaceful Islet of St Mary, home to a historic 12th-Century Benedictine Monastery. You can even swim in the lakes so make sure you take a towel with you. Cruise onwards towards Korčula, the birthplace of famed explorer Marco Polo. On arrival in Korčula, a guided tour will give you a remarkable insight into the history of this pretty town’s narrow cobbled streets and friendly locals. The rest of the day will be free for you to wander around the town and find a local restaurant where you can have dinner. B, L.
Day 4 Vis
A different day, a different island. Today you will cruise onwards to Vis, stopping for a swim on the way. You should arrive on the island in the late afternoon and you will have time to explore this lesser-visited destination. See the unique architecture or visit one of the unspoilt beaches before finding a charming family-run restaurant for your evening meal. B, L.
Day 5 Hvar
Today you’ll cruise towards Hvar, with a stop at the island of Biševo’s Blue Cave on the way (cave visit will be dependent on the tides). After lunch on board, relax on deck as you cruise into Hvar’s harbour. Known as the Monte Carlo of Croatia, Hvar is a glittering hub of exclusive clubs and superb restaurants. A local English-speaking guide will give you a tour of the town, where you’ll learn about the history, culture and fascinating lavender-growing tradition of the surrounding area. Later, enjoy a free evening and take advantage of the many family-owned restaurants that dot the town. B, L.
Day 6 Bol & Pučišća (Brač Island)
This morning, you’ll have some time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of one of the best swimming beaches in Croatia, Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Later, on arrival in Bol, wander the winding streets lined by small stone houses, or enjoy a relaxing swim. After lunch, cruise towards the village of Pučišća. Set on a steep-sided natural harbour, this village is unlike anywhere else on the Dalmatian Coast with its unique stonemasonry school. Stone from the local quarry was used to build the columns of the White House and the Vienna parliament buildings. Enjoy the rustic ambience and Mediterranean architecture as you explore. B, L.
Day 7 Omiš & Split
You’ll then cruise across the Brač Channel to Omiš, a town on the delta of the Cetina River. Enjoy a stroll around this former pirate stronghold before re-boarding MS Splendid for the final leg of your journey. Sail towards the beautiful sun-kissed ancient city of Split, where you can discover the UNESCO World Heritage-listed remains of Roman Emperor Diocletian’s home on a guided walking tour of the city. B, L.
Day 8 Split, Croatia
Following disembarkation, transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. B.

Dining & beverages
Your cruise includes breakfast and lunch, served in either the salon-restaurant or out on the terrace. The cruise has been specially designed to ensure that you get to experience each region in its entirety. For this reason, dinner is not included with the exception of a welcome dinner on the first night, meaning that you can savour the local cuisine in every port that you visit. Drinks are not included but can be purchased on board.
With so many opportunities to experience the delicious local cuisine and energetic culture, entertainment on board is low key, with the only television found in the main lounge. Throughout the day, you can relax on one of the sun loungers, take a dip in the inviting sea, or relax on the sun deck.

With each day offering new sights of Croatia’s beautiful islands, ancient cities, and idyllic harbours, there is always something new to explore. While guided tours are included in the price, many entrance fees (such as Mljet National Park) are not so that you can spend your free time as you choose.
As with many island-hopping cruises on small, relaxed vessels, the dress code is casual.
Extend your stay
There’s so much to see and do in Dubrovnik that a night or two in port may not be enough for those that really want to be immersed in this beautiful, historic city. Alternatively, we recommend combining your cruise with a few days in neighbouring Montenegro, which is fast becoming one of the Med’s must-see destinations. Spend your time in the upmarket town of Tivat in the Bay of Kotor, just an hour and a half's drive from Dubrovnik. You can add time in Montenegro at the beginning or end of this cruise, which also operates in reverse from Split to Dubrovnik between May and September.
