Located in northern Botswana, Chobe National Park sits at the edge of the Okavango Delta close to the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Makgadikgadi Pans and a short distance from the thundering Victoria Falls.
Chobe is famed for its elephants, great herds of grey plodding across the savannah, appearing between the trees and drinking deep at the waterholes. You are almost guaranteed a sighting of these gentle giants as you traverse the landscapes of this beautiful park.
With a great location on the edge of the Okavango Delta, you can explore the maze of channels and small islands from the comfort of your mokoro canoe or can enjoy a walking safari. The Delta is home to a plethora of animals and watching elephants frolic in the water is especially exciting!
Due to its location, you can also visit Victoria Falls in neighbouring Zambia and marvel at the immense amount of water that comes crashing over its edge to the pool below, throwing up a fine mist that sparkles in the air.
