This smart seaside hotel has a quieter location in a residential area of Split.
This sleek, modern hotel is just a short hop from Split’s Old City in a residential area for great coastal views away from the crowds. Walk the leisurely half-hour coastal walk or take a quick taxi ride and you’ll soon be wandering around its narrow stone alleys. While back at the hotel, the glass-sided restaurants give you full access to the panoramic sea views of the Brač and Solta islands beyond.
The Fig Leaf has all-day international buffet options, and our favourite spot for scenic dinners is at Caper Restaurant where aá la carte Croatian and Mediterranean dishes are served on a terrace to sea views. Down at the private pool, the large decking area has plenty of space with sun beds and super-comfortable four-poster beach beds as well as a Pool Bar for cocktails in arm’s reach. At the resort’s spa – one of the largest in Split – you can make use of its excellent thermal area, traditional Finnish saunas, cold plunge pool and a unique Japanese onsen pool.
The hotel’s style is clean and quirky with a neutral palette accented with colour. We recommend a room with sea views – there are plenty of water-facing rooms and suites to choose from. Book a rooms and suite in the newer wing, added in 2018, for a more updated style. Or upgrade to a Junior Suite and relax to island views in your separate living area or take a soak in your bedroom’s freestanding tub.
