This beautiful boutique hotel was an absolute joy to stay in. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and never fail to greet you. The rooms are really lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom, huge comfortable beds and everything you need and more. The private outside area with pool is delightful. The pool area and beachfront setting is amazing. Peaceful and relaxing, which was heaven for us. We had drinks at the rooftop bar a couple of times which was great, watching the sun go down, and ate in the restaurant for the BBQ evening which was delicious. Breakfast is really good with lots of choice both Asian dishes and western food. A special mention to the egg chef who made our omelettes without our asking, just seeing us arrive for breakfast and cooked as we liked them and to perfection. The hotel is a short stroll from the town and so ideally placed to venture out. The hotel was busy during our stay but we never heard anything from the neighbouring rooms and were very surprised to notice a family with baby next door, we’d never heard a peep which is almost unheard of in hotels. There are so many positives about this hotel it’s impossible to list them all. We loved it and would definitely recommend it and hope to return ourselves.
From the moment of arrival when greeted by the friendly Reception staff to the moment we left , the Cape Nidhra Hotel was quite simply superb. We were greeted with a drink and cake, and then taken to our room by one of the Reception staff and shown around it and how everything worked. And wow what a room! The bedroom has everything you would want and is spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and outside area where the pool and day bed is. The room includes tea/coffee making facilities, fridge with mini bar, safe, coat hangers, robes, slippers and flip flops and even a beach bag for you to use. There is a hairdryer and European plug socket. The bathroom has flannels, towels, toiletries in and housekeeping do a turn down service late afternoon where they replenish anything that is needed. The room as tri-fold doors which open on to your deck area and the pool has a “water corridor” which means you can go straight from the pool through a door directly in to the shower if you wish which is a genius idea! The roof top bar is lovely in the evening and you can look over the palm trees out to see where you will see the lights of the night shrimp boats. Happy hour was 5-7pm and 10-11pm while we stayed, not sure fit hat is standard or alters. Never seen a breakfast spread quite like it. The choice and quality was fantastic. So in summary, a superb hotel and would absolutely recommend it. If you are already booked to go then lucky you - you are in for a treat!
impossible not to fall in love with this place
It is impossible not to fall in love with this place...! We arrived late from Bangkok and had a nice welcome from the hotel staff at the reception. Everything was perfect: from the room, the breakfast (best I ever had in Thailand), the swimming pool to the beach. If you’re a yogi they even have a yoga class in the morning! The hotel is so peaceful and the hotel staff was lovely, smiling and helpful. I special thank you to the hotel guest relations manager Mr. Jan Hottiger who made our stay a wonderful weekend gateway from Bangkok! I will definitely recommend Cape Nidhra to my friends and family. Looking forward to come back one day!
Loved It !!
Absolutely loved it. Had the room with the pool on the balcony, bath tub and seperate shower and thoroughly enjoyed it all it was hard to leave the room. Food was the bomb! And the pool and beach view was gorgeous even in rainy season it was breathtaking. Service and humility of the people is gorgeous — Would highly recommend staying here if you want the less busy side of Thailand...
Incredible place that everyone should try
I've been to many hotels but never felt as well-treated as here. The whole hotel is spotless, the breakfast is amazing, the main pool's setting is so special you'd never want to leave. The beach access is also very appreciated. The rooms are huge, with a cosy private pool and outstanding design and bathroom. The staff is friendly and extremely professional. The Manager, Jan, made our stay very special by making sure we (and I am sure, everyone else) had everything we needed at all times. He gave our group useful recommendations about where to go in Hua Hin in a fluent French and German. I will come back and recommend this hotel to all my friends back home.
