Comfortable and gracious
I ended up booking this hotel last minute and could have been happier. The property is really nice And the staff specifically Puri & Shina were exceptional. I came in late after a long and stressful day and they helped me get me checked in fast and even upgraded my room without me asking. It was a great experience and I will be back. Thanks again!
Amazing views and quiet
Came here with my partner for a few days, the most welcoming, friendly and helpful staff of the holiday. One gentleman took the time to remember our name. It seemed most evenings had a fantastic piano player who played popular Western music. The concierge was always on hand to provide us with information and there is even a tuk tuk service that can take you to the main road for guests. The restaurants and bars were fantastic but a little more expensive than other places we had been to. Rooms were slightly outdated but didn’t spoil the holiday in anyway and still deserves the full 5 stars.
Good location - Lovely staff
Spent 3 night at this hotel in early march 2020. The entrance to the hotel is in a small back street with a couple of nice restaurants just down the street. The hotel is clean, comfortable, has a very nice rooftop bar and the staff, all of them, are super nice. Our room was comfortable. We spent some very pleasant afternoons / early evenings around the outdoor pool. limited space but OK. The hotel is located less than 10 mins from the BTS skytrain and metro stations. Both easy to use .. after your first try... Would I stay at this hotel again - Yes
Good location and value.
Great location with access to everything. Good value for the money but the breakfast was a little disappointing. Mexican restaurant was quite good but avoid the fake Indian place. They are very uncooperative to dietary problems.
Central location clean and comfortable
We stand for 3 nights at the start of our Thailand holiday. After flying a long time overnight we were super tired. Joined the long taxi quene and set off to the hotel. As my first time in Thailand when you first come up the hotel you are a little shocked as it is a side street of the main road but the entrance is welcoming and centrally located. We had landed in the morning and we were able to check in early for free which was great before getting a nap. Hotel room is large with floor to ceiling windows, there is alot of brown funiture which gives the feeling of a businessman's hotel, but room was clean and had everything you needed. Hotel has a lovely pool and pool towels where provided. We used the Bar downstairs more as it had a happy hour every day and was nice and relaxing. We went to the roof top bar and this doesn't have the happy hour but did have lovely cocktails. We were on a bed and breakfast stay. Breakfast was large with alot of offerings, more than enough to set you up for the day. Location wise - you have anything on your doorstep from the overhead mono rail, terimnal 21 which has the most amazing food court if you want cheap grub and Soi Cowboy if that is your thing ( we walked down there once and it wasn't for us). We had food at the Thai resturant at the end of the street that doesn't look like much but was amazing. Also the thai massage place just next door and through a alley door was some of the best massages we had in Thailand. Great price and really helped with the jetlag. In Bangkok we hit alot of the main sites, we used the monorail to get around which is super easy, to get to the grand palace we did monorail then river boat, again super easy. Please note the dress code for the grand palace is very strict, i took a shawl to cover my shoulders and had worn long trousers and this wasn't enough - i had to purchase a t-shirt to ensure the tops of my shoulders are covered at all times - elbow down was fine. I suppose it was because at other sites we saw women who had a shawl but as soon in the building they took it off. Other things to be aware of: you will need to take your shoes off in the temples, and don't show bare feet to a buddha. We also visited Jim Thompsons house which was very interesting, be aware you tour the house at set times so you might have to wait a little. Overall a excellent hotel and a great base for our bangkok trip
