The nearby Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre offers a unique insight into Mount Cook, with a planetarium and 3D theatre. A huge array of activities is on offer in the park, including boat trips on glacial lakes, guided treks through mountain and bushland scenery and heli-skiing in the winter months.
Standard Rooms are located in the original wing and feature a balcony or terrace and alpine views of the Tasman Valley or Mount Sefton. Standard Mount Cook View Rooms are also available.
