Ritz Carlton Aruba

Fresh cut coconuts, calm waters and white sands

A contemporary and luxurious hotel in a sensational setting with plush rooms, great pools and beach service via waiters on Segways.

If the widescreen Caribbean Sea views and powder soft sands of Palm Beach aren’t enough to tempt you here, then the pools (one adults-only, the other with a huge shallow end for kids), private beach cabanas and complimentary paddleboards and kayaks will. Children are welcomed warmly without luxury being sacrificed: kids activities include movie making and nature scouting whilst grown-ups can get a burst of wellness in the spa’s steam rooms and oxygen bar or drift from sushi-sampling and cocktail-sipping to Italian dinners at Casa Nonna.

Why we love Ritz Carlton Aruba

  • There’s nothing quite like waking up to the translucent blue waters and powder-soft white sands right in front of you.

  • A family-friendly hotel with a great kids' club, child size sun loungers and complimentary sunscreen, bug spray and swim nappies.

  • Making the most of the free rental of paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling gear.

Start the day with fluffy pancakes, grab midday coffees and ice creams, make the most of the all-day poolside grill and come evening, choose from a sizzling steakhouse, ambient sushi bar or New York-style Italian restaurant. There are summer vibes all day long at the VW camper van cocktail bar and there’s a fabulous mimosa-filled buffet lunch every Sunday.

BLT Steak
The speciality here might be steak – from NY strip to Porterhouse – but you’ll also find seafood platters and a beautiful selection of fish such as dover sole and local snapper. Open for dinner, BLT’s dark interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows make it perfect for sunset reservations. Finish the night with the likes of mini doughnuts and lemon cheesecake.

Casa Nonna
New York Casa Nonna pays homage to authentic Italian flavours, and its Aruba venue is an outpost of the original New York City restaurant. Savour Roman and Tuscan dishes alongside a fantastic wine menu and Italian gelati for dessert.

Solanio
Start the day with sublime sea views where à la carte and buffet breakfasts are served from 6.30 am to midday.

Divi Sushi Bar & Lounge
Open from 1pm until 1am, Divi has a swish lobby setting with ocean views and a mouthwatering menu of sashimi, sushi and cocktails. Perfect for small plates, sharing platters and late nights with a rum-tasting flight.

Madero Pool & Beach Grill
Open from 11am to 6pm, this casual outdoor grill is perfectly located to cater for those hanging out by the pool or beach all day.

Ritual Coffee Culture
The lobby level coffee shop is open from 6.30am to 8pm, not only giving you your caffeine fixes but also homemade gelato and baked goods.

Dinner on the Beach
Slink over to the beach come sunset for an entirely private four-course dinner overlooking the sea. Candles and lanterns add to the ambience and a live musician can be requested for some extra movie star magic.

Bahada di Solo
The hotel celebrates Bahada di Solo (the golden hour of sunset views) every evening at 6 pm. Come along to Divi Sushi Bar and Lounge Terrace where mixologists will be whipping up the hotels signature drink, the tropical white rum and cactus Cadushi cocktail.

Madero pop-up bar
Thirst quenching cocktails and mocktails served in coconuts, pineapples or glasses are shaken, slung and stirred all day at the Madero pop-up bar, a vibrant VW camper van by the pool.

Sushi and sunsets at Divi, whether you want light, fresh bites before a late dinner or fancy cocktails and stargazing after dark.
