Stay at Coral Beach
Our first stay at this hotel and did not dissapoint! The hotel is fantastic, stylish and spotlessly clean, and the rooms are modern and finished to a high standard. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was very good with a wide vafiety to choose from. We will definitely return!
So good we booked again before we left!
Wonderful. We never return to the same place twice, but this is an exception! We’ll be back in April! We couldn’t go to the US as planned, due to Covid. So tried to find something at the last minute. There wasn’t much choice and whenever something looked promising, the reviews weren’t great. This place had continually strong reviews and they are well deserved. The hotel is a genuinely lovely site, excellently maintained and immaculately clean. Staff were consistently polite, friendly and helpful, the food was good and above all - the place was peaceful and relaxing. There weren’t many children, no poolside entertainment (that’s a good thing!) and pool games were prohibited. The pool is super, even if the gardens are very small. And the gym/spa were also very pleasant. We wanted to relax and the most music we had was a marvellous saxophonist playing chillout music one evening and a super harpist at breakfast. Enjoyable, without being intrusive. Our room was spacious, with great balcony views and a fridge (which, when opposite a large Aldi supermarket was very useful)! We only had an evening meal once in the restaurant because it was a tad expensive and there was no information regarding what the buffet would comprise of. But breakfast was excellent - you couldn’t ask for more. The location is great if you want peace. The promenade is glorious and you can walk 15 minutes in one direction to Puerto Banus and an hour in the other to Marbella. Fab beach and lots of lovely restaurants very near by. We were so nervous of getting it wrong (we’ve done that more than once) but enjoyed ourselves so much we booked again before we left. We’ll worth it. Thank you.
This hotel was in a great location only a 15 minute scenic walk down to Peurto Banus. The staff were all amazing especially Ana and Luba who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special as we were out there celebrating my sisters 30th birthday. Lovely hotel, clean rooms and a pleasant stay.
Last minute winter break with more than a hint of luxury
From the minute we entered reception the quality and class of this hotel was evident. The staff were attentive, explanations crystal clear and the wile process a pleasure. The hotel (group) uses App based menus and assistance - not a piece of paper in sight, great for these covid times but more generally just a huge step forward in process. The rooms were large, modern and well equipped, left us wanting for nothing. The food (both in terms of choice, quality and presentation) was also of a high standard, and the waiting staff were friendly and professional. Covid protocols were in place and adhered to/enforced but never felt intrusive. The time of year (week of hotel closure) did mean entertainment was mostly “self made”, which did lead to a bit of a “ghost town” feeling of an evening BUT that was countered by the happy, full of banter bar staff who worked hard, delivered quality drinks, in serious measures, always with a smile (or at least I assume so as they never took their face masks off)… Finally the pool area, lovely, peaceful clean and spacious - oh and the koi carp and turtles (not in the pool but in their own pond!) was definitely a 1st gift us…
Beautiful hotel- so much potential
This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are modern and spacious. We stayed in the penthouse which has a hot tub on the top floor with amazing views of the sea. I’d recommend paying that little extra for it. The hotel is basically on the beach front with a small walk to the beach. It’s a great location. All inclusive: We went for the all inclusive package which is where the hotel lost a star. The food from the snack bar was delicious and for all inclusive there was good menu options. I’d recommend eating there and trying the delicious cocktails which were also included. However, the buffet breakfast and dinner could have room for improvement. The selection of food was great, the only problem was the food was on the cold side. I know it’s a buffet so food is sat out but some stronger heaters would keep it hot. Snack bar: The snack bar on the ground floor of the hotel has a lot of potential however the music is on the depressing side. It’s the same around the pool a beautiful scene but no character. A bit more lively music and some entertainment and that bar/pool would make a difference. The staff were all lovely, however, I did come across one man at the bar who was rude to me and so I avoided him for the rest of the stay. But all the other staff were very kind and worked hard. Sea soul restaurant and pool: I think it’s on the pricey side having to pay for a sun-bed at the pool by the beach. I also think if you’re all inclusive at least the drinks should be included in the bar. I’m sure the foods incredible but again when you have paid for all inclusive I didn’t want to pay full price for a meal. I know some hotels ask for an additional set price to eat at the nicer restaurants which would be less than paying full price and maybe that could be an option. I would come back to the hotel and would also recommend this hotel to couples and maybe older people as it feels more laid back.
