A selection of new handpicked hotels, cruises, multi-centre itineraries and escorted tours across Thailand, Malaysia, Indochina, Singapore and Hong Kong are all featured in Kuoni’s latest Far East collection on sale now for September 2019 to December 2020 holidays.

From luxurious tropical pool villas in Bali to sensational family island resorts in Singapore, Kuoni has added fourteen new hotels, one of which is completely exclusive to Kuoni customers in Bali and six new pages of multi-centre holidays designed to give customers ideas of how they can combine different destinations.

Three far East destinations - Thailand, Bali and Vietnam - remain in Kuoni’s top ten, with less traditional areas such as Khao Lak selling well for 2019.

Alongside the launch Kuoni is also investing in travel agents expertise and in October, Kuoni’s trade sales team will be running a dedicated trip for partner stores to Thailand, visiting Bangkok and seeing new product in Koh Samui. They will also be giving training to agents throughout the year with in-store visits.

Jennie Moore, Product and Purchasing Manager for the Far East said: “We’ve built fantastic relationships with hotels in the Far East for many years and we work closely with all our featured hotels to ensure Kuoni values are reflected so guests have a premium experience with the wow factor. All properties have been selected by our team so they meet the Kuoni quality and premium standards, so anyone booking can rest assured these are best-in-class collection.

We’re particularly excited about our new luxury exclusive property in Bali, the Royal Santrian beach villas which are really special.  We’re expecting this to be popular for honeymoons and special occasion trips.”

New hotels in Thailand and Singapore

Brand new for 2019 is Kalima Resorts and Villas in Khao Lak, tucked away in a mangrove forest the unique geometric design of the property really stands out with rustic wooden interiors and brass taps which captures the industrial past of the area.

Set on the quieter northern end of Chaweng Beach, Anantara Lawana in Koh Samui is a tranquil resort that offers private dining at its romantic Tree Top Sky Dining & Bar, with just eight individual salas looking out to the sea it’s the perfect spot to celebrate a honeymoon or special occasion.

Gateway to the mountains, forest and hill tribes of the north, The Riverie in Chiang Rai is located along the River Kok with the Deluxe River rooms offering spectacular views.

In Singapore, Kuoni has added four resorts to its portfolio, three of which are located on Sentosa Island which include the family friendly Village Hotel as well as The Outpost adults-only resort and The Barracks which is due to open in December.

Luxury retreats in Indonesia

Set to be exclusive to Kuoni UK in April 2020, The Royal Santrian, Luxury Beach Villas is the epitome of luxury with all-pool villas, butler service and a royal spa.

Brand new for Lombok, The Kayana will bring contemporary chic style to the north-west coast of this island. With its refreshingly simple villas and laidback lifestyle, it is ideal for honeymooners and couples seeking a secluded hideaway.

Historic Vietnam

In the heart of Ho Chi Minh City sits the Caravelle Saigon Hotel which will be celebrating 60 years in December. Once home to many embassies, the hotel played an important part in the Vietnamese War as well as being just steps away from the famous Saigon Opera House.

Another property is the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi, located near the historic French and Old Quarters with easy access into the city. The hotel’s distinctive architecture reflects the French colonial past with a modern twist.
