Luxury hotel at a great location
We stayed here for 3 nights in october 2019.It is a lovely hotel, expensive but worth it. From check-in with a wet towel and cold water with cucumber until check out you are treated with a smile. The room was OK, great bed and shower, but small balcony overlooking a construction site. The pool was great as was breakfast. No complaints.
Perfect End Of Season Family Stay At Aressana Spa & Hotel
We used all the services at Aressana Hotel during a five night stay with my family at the end of the summer season and had a lovely time! We found it quite difficult to find the right family friendly hotel in Santorini, as we had quite a few things we wanted from the property and the area, so we were pleased to find Aressana. First of all we visited at the end of high season and Aressana stayed open longer than others we had looked at, but they are also in the perfect area of Thira. The sea views from both the restaurant and jacuzzi rooms is beautiful, it’s just around the corner from the best sunset view on the island, it’s a few doors up from the bus stop which goes to Oia, it’s a short walk from the cable car and it’s close to the shops and restaurants. The last one is important, because at this time of year a lot shuts down early, so while we had the pleasure of missing the crowds, we didn’t want to be without a bit of life and choice with the shops and restaurants. This part of Thira is perfect for that! We also wanted something that was very private when you’re actually inside the hotel, as we had read a lot about tourists being stood outside rooms at all hours in other popular places. You can probably see how private it is from the photos. We wanted somewhere with good food, a spa, awesome views and a private jacuzzi on the balcony, but this also had to be safe with the kids and as you can see with the barriers they have, its very safe. We also wanted somewhere that had a pool for the kids. We got all this and more as we tried two different rooms at Aressana and the first had a second semi private pool, which is heated slightly, that you can access directly from the back entrance of your room. The rooms were immaculate, clean and everything looks like new. The service was fantastic throughout our stay in the different parts of the hotel, so it’s really hard for me to call one member staff out, even the hotels driver who we booked several times for trips back and fore to the airport and different parts of the island, was fantastic! Make sure you book a meal in the restaurant, the food is superb and good value. We’ve reviewed Ifestioni separately with more photos! The standard breakfast was good, with cereals, fresh fruit, sweet treats and some hot food including some British faves but you could also pay a small amount extra to eat from the menu for lots of other options! We didn’t get treatments in the spa but we did book their relaxation room for an hour which is lovely! As well as hot herbal tea, cold cocktails, fresh snacks and use of the hot tub, we got to experience their hot tile beds, these are special! We spent five nights there altogether and we worried at first this would be too much in Santorini, but we didn’t want to leave.
Reunion with High School Friend
This was our second time here and when we had a chance to visit Santorini again with our Friends, We highly recommended Aressana Spa & Hotel . Superb Room, Amenities & Perfect Location plus great Hotel Staff Services.
Loved our four nights at this hotel. The staff, the rooms, the breakfasts, dinners were all excellent. Although we didn’t have a view from our room, just a few steps away was the stunning view of the caldera as well as many restaurants and shops. The swimming pool area was a lovely place to be on a sunny day. The only, minor, draw back for us was the height of the safe. Being 5’ and 5’1”, it was difficult reaching up for it. Other than that, everything was perfect!
Loved every moment of our stay. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is great for exploring Fira and beyond and the views of the Caldera are a short stones throw away. The room and bed was very comfortable... nice little courtyard outside the room and there were plenty of nooks around the hotel with chairs/lounges that guests could relax on if you didn’t wish to lay by the pool. Inside and out this hotel impressed! Highly recommend.
