Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina
It’s Mid-century motel meets boathouse chic at Postcard Inn. A full-service marina, private beach, two pools and fun drinking and dining options make this a great stop on the Overseas Highway.
With Islamorada being one of the world’s best sport fishing destinations, both novice and advanced anglers can enjoy heading off on all kinds of fishing expeditions from the resort’s marina. Diving trips can also be arranged, and the on-site dive shop supplies everything guests might need for their aquatic adventures. There’s also snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding on the private beach, and there are two pools, including one that overlooks the ocean.

Apologies for the earworm but you’ll definitely ‘wanna go’ to ‘Kokomo’, which is the pool bar, however The Tiki Bar’s overlooks the marina and is always a hit with both local crowd, especially at the weekend when there’s often live music. Guests can also eat at Ciao Hound if they fancy an Italian, or the Raw Bar for oceanfront delights like fresh ceviche, raw oysters and fish tacos.
The resort’s located just off the Overseas Highway, and it’s easy to reach the shops, galleries and restaurants of Islamorada by car. It’s an ideal stop between Miami and Key West.
