Villa Casagrande

Wine and wellness

A wonderful mix of old meets new in this former farmhouse which is characterised by pure Tuscan style.

Steeped in history and bursting with rustic charm, this romantic 14th-Century farmhouse has beautiful gardens, pretty courtyards, and a cloister. The noble floor of the Villa is a museum adorned with Florentine, Sienese and Umbrian paintings. However, wine lovers will be drawn to the wine cellar, still complete with antique machinery and large oak barrels used in ancient production.

The restaurant serves authentic Tuscan cuisine along with international dishes and, during the summer, the pretty ivy-draped courtyard provides a delightful setting for meals. During the winter months you can dine in the evocative antique hall.

Courtyard Il Convivo
Located in the armoury during the winter and outside in the courtyard in the summer, there are plenty of Tuscan dishes on the menu.

Convivo Bistrot
Situated on a hill opposite the hotel, the Convivo Bistrot is open from 10am until 8pm. It also has a cocktail bar and rooftop terrace.

Foodies should head to the ancient kitchen of the Countess for a three-hour lesson in Tuscan cuisine. After preparing a variety of dishes you get to try them afterwards.
