Art Deco meets neo modernism at this city hotel at the heart of a lively, artistic neighbourhood.
The historic building that is now the Perianth has been a central feature of Agias Eirinis Square since the 1930s. Step inside and you will find an Art Deco design with a modern twist. The grey curved walls are adorned with works from Greek contemporary artists. The rooms are minimalist in their design, a calming sanctuary from the busy city outside.
Start your day with a morning yoga class before taking breakfast overlooking Agias Eirinis Square. The square is full of charming shops, flower stalls and trendy cafés and restaurants. After a day exploring the sites of Athens, many of which are within walking distance, unwind in one of the nearby bars.
Why we love Perianth Hotel
-
Centrally located in Agias Eirinis Square, a perfect base for exploring Athens
-
The hotel showcases the Greek contemporary art scene
-
A member of Design Hotels™, the décor and architecture has been influenced by its 1930's origin
-
It's worth upgrading to a room with a balcony for Acropolis views
This resort has earned internationally recognised certification that conform to standards set by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
Rooms
There are just 38 rooms and suites at Perianth with muted wall colours, brass elements and pastel soft furnishings. There are cool but cosy Classic Rooms. We highly recommend one of the Superior Rooms or Perianth Suites are more spacious and for that iconic view from your balcony, we highly recommend the Superior Rooms Acropolis View or Perianth Suites Acropolis View. The ultimate treat is a few nights in the Penthouse Suite that has a large terrace and a private plunge pool that has one of the best views in the city.
Facilities
Days begin with a breakfast that’s full of local flavours and organic produce; fruit, yoghurt and honey sprinkled with some granola is always a great way to fuel a day in Greece but there are also hot cooked-to-order dishes on offer. For on-site dining later in the day, there’s the ground-floor Perianth Café where you can dine on Med-inspired dishes accompanied by signature cocktails or you may want to explore the restaurants and bars on the doorstep.
