Stayed as part of a staycation for one night. The Hotel itself is super nice with fantastic and big rooms. However in my opinion the service is lacking for a 5-star hotel. The check in is seated, which is nice, however the receptionist was standing during the whole process and it felt super rushed as she was constantly moving and speaking to colleagues. Also I booked with booking.com and selected twin beds which was confirmed on check in but once we entered the room it was a king bed, not what we wanted but we didnt bother to ask for another room again. On turndown the housekeeping lady asked if we need anything, we requestes another blanket which never came. Breakfast was good with a nice selection but staff seemed overwhelmed, asked for coffee twice which came half way during breakfast also asked for cutlery which took 2 attempts to get. ( while asking, 3 employees were talking and did not even acknowledge me, had to go to another lady to get it) quite poor service in my opinion. Spa was fantastic and i would absolutely recommend to get a treatment.
An excellent choice for the perfect stay in the Mother city . Excellent location , central to all major tourist attractions . The most friendly and helpful staff . Ielhaam Davids really went the extra mile to keep us all happy even helping us plan and book all our tours . I would highly recommend this hotel .
Wonderful 3-day trip
We had our anniversary here and were met with a beautifully decorated room and some bubbly. Our room had amazing views of table mountain and we enjoyed our three days there very much. Very friendly staff, free shuttle to the waterfront and free parking. Great experience, highly recommend! The oat cookies in the room were sneaked out, they were so good 😇
A quiet getaway in a very busy part of town.
This hotel which is a business destination for me remains after some 40 visits refreshingly novel. After busy business days, the hotel is embracing and calming yet offering a lot of fun and excitement just around the corner. And just wonderful and caring staff!
Best place to stay in the Cape
It was recommended that I stay in the CBD area of Cape Town so I could be within walking distance of everything and I am so grateful I booked at Pepperclub. Beyond the amazing room and beautiful views of Table Mountain, the people are what truly makes this hotel a home away from home. Everyone went above and beyond before and during my stay to make sure everything was to my liking. They helped me set up a spa treatment, booked an all day tour of the coast for me with AJ (who is amazing), and had amazing recommendations for restaurants and things to do. I tried setting up things on my own prior to arriving, and unfortunately a lot of them fell through due to poor management from those companies. Everyone at the Pepperclub was right there to figure out a better solution and make sure I had the best experience possible. Not only that, but I enjoyed chatting with them about my days. I can't thank Bronwyn, Winsint, Charleen, Ndumie, AJ, Ielaam, Marleen and Curt enough for making my first trip to Cape Town so special. I can't wait to return.
