Keen to discover new experiences and cultures beyond Europe and North America, Pam set out to gain an in-depth knowledge of East Africa. Her most recent journeys through Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe, have brought her into close contact with both the local people, as well as the wildlife. One of her fondest memories was of a curious young elephant who she met, literally face to face, through the window of her safari jeep.
