Growing up in India, Mayur travelled extensively throughout the country including Rajasthan where he lapped up its vibrant culture and enjoyed camel riding from desert camps. He swept through Vietnam favouring Hoi An’s lantern-lit streets, ventured to teetering heights in Nepal, and travelled across Japan falling in love with Kyoto during the cherry blossom season. One of his most memorable moments though was cruising the backwaters of Kerala on a coir woven houseboat, local toddy in hand.
