Beginning his career in the South African Navy, Kevin has accumulated a wealth of experience at leading hotels in South Africa and around the world. Emphatic about fresh ingredients, he cooks unashamedly from the heart, and believes in generous portions. His latest crush, meat smoking, was taken to new heights during lockdown, when he had time to experiment with cuts, timing and dry rubs. The Oyster Box is the proud recipient of a prestigious Blazon, from the gastronomy association, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
