Jean du Plessis spent his childhood in the foothills of Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains. In 1999, he founded WAYO Africa with the aim of getting people out of their vehicles to enjoy canoeing, walking and mountain biking adventures in Tanzania’s national parks. Jean is also the TV host of National Geographic’s Ultimate Africa and is working on a new series for Netflix and IMAX about the Serengeti’s ecosystem.
