Originally from Germany, Daniel moved to South Africa in 2014. It was in that same year he became a field guide through the Ulovane Environmental Academy. He took his skills to Kariega Game Reserve and, after four years guiding, Daniel became Operational Anti-Poaching Unit Manager and K9 handler for the reserve. When he isn’t patrolling, Daniel enjoys wildlife photography and spending time with his family and dogs.
