Alfred & Andrea Pompele

Andrea Pompele grew up near Mont Blanc in Italy, where he fell in love with the wilderness. After studying biology, ethology and ecology, he followed his childhood dream and moved to Africa to work in the bush. Andrea is now a walking safari guide, co-manager of Nanyukie Lodge and has also developed Lemala’s professional guide training programme.
