Dine under the stars at Elephant Bedroom Camp, an intimate tented camp in Samburu National Game Reserve. Set by the Ewaso Nyiro River, elephants wander in and out of camp freely and feel so comfortable and safe that they often come here to sleep, hence the name Elephant Bedroom Camp. One of the highlights of staying with us is the evening dining experience, where you can feast beneath a clear sky filled with stars.
Dinner is a three-course, à la carte affair served on our deck, where tables are set out with white tablecloths and candles. After a soup starter, choose from meat or vegetarian mains and an indulgent dessert like a tiramisu. Since we’re in a secluded area, there’s no light-pollution and on a clear night, the sky is full of constellations.
