The Bear’s Den is a collection of large luxury homes, all with access to resort facilities, including a waterpark and a range of restaurants. Three brilliant golf courses steal the show when it comes to recreation, but there are plenty of other resort facilities for all ages here, from golf and football to playgrounds and four-seater bike rentals. And whether you want to drive or take advantage of the resort’s free shuttle bus, it's not far from Walt Disney World.

Why we love Bear's Den

There’s complimentary transport to Walt Disney World and Island H20 water park.
Dining in is made easy thanks to a grocery delivery service (even if you just want breakfast bits or treats for a movie night), but there are restaurants around the resort if you want to eat out.
Arrange a chef to come in and prepare dinner for you all – perfect for special occasions; the mansions' outdoor kitchens make the perfect place to prepare sun-kissed meals.
The golf here is exceptional with three courses to try, but if you’re not all playing, there’s plenty to do to keep everyone entertained, from pools and sports to in-home spa treatments.

The homes here feel more premium than others in the Orlando area. As well as private pools, some have lovely extras like outdoor kitchens to elevate your BBQ night and take advantage of those warm Florida evenings. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and some homes feature extra spaces like cinema rooms or games rooms. There are even some mansions that are perfect for golfers - they are located next to the 17th and 18th hole of the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course.

Four Bedroom Homes

Sleeps up to ten guests in four bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, a full kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, a private heated pool, washing and drying facilities, and a cinema room.

Eight Bedroom Homes

With eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms, these enormous homes accommodate up to 18 guests when two guests share a sofa bed in the living area. There’s a large indoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, a private heated pool, and washing and drying facilities.

Although you’ll have a fabulous kitchen for self-catering (and maybe even your own outdoor kitchen too), there are still plenty of restaurants when you want a night off from cooking. The options at nearby Reunion Resort are also available to guests of The Bear’s Den, just a three-minute drive away or a leg-stretching walk on a balmy Florida evening. You can also have food delivered or have a chef come in and cook for you, which is a great option to take advantage of the privacy of your home. If you want to whip up some pre-meal cocktails, you can get an in-home mixologist at your service.

Traditions
A fancy but laid-back restaurant in the Nicklaus Clubhouse, you can expect a menu of American favourites from late morning until late evening.

A premium steakhouse open for dinner complemented by an excellent wine menu. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Eleven
Dine on small plates and sip cocktails at this rooftop venue, where you can see the theme park fireworks in the distance.

The Clubhouse
Pop into this informal restaurant for a quick bite for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner.

The Cove Bar & Grille
A poolside restaurant serving light bites and refreshments.

Grande Lobby Bar and Sushi
Order sushi or just a drink, and relax in the lobby of the Reunion Resort.

Next to the water park, you can order nachos, hot dogs, and burgers to re-energise!

Mobile spa services mean you can enjoy massages and spa treatments in your home. Spa parties can be arranged too, and are a pampering way to unwind with friends and family who need a pick-me-up after busy days in the theme parks.

There’s a fitness centre with cardio machines, weight training and yoga classes in the Grand Club Fitness Centre.

There’s so much to do here. A five-acre water park with water slides, a lazy river, cabanas, and lawn games, and an in-water playground and splash pad is the heart of the action. Tennis, pickleball, footgolf, mini golf, bike rentals – including four-seater Surrey bikes. Look out for tennis drill clinics if you want to improve your game. For a taste of the great outdoors, there's the Golden Bear Park where you'll find a playground, beach volleyball courts and a practice putting green. You can rent a golf cart or some bikes to get around the resort.

There isn’t a kids’ club, but this is still a fabulous option for kids of all ages thanks to the water park, playgrounds, private pools, and plenty of activities to get involved with. For families travelling with little ones, it’s good to know you can hire strollers and high chairs here.

There are three incredible golf courses at your fingertips. The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is on the doorstep of The Bear’s Den, but guests also have access to the Arnold Palmer Course and Tom Watson Course. You will have access to the Clubhouse, fitness centre and Traditions at the Nicklaus Clubhouse - a tavern-style venue serving up classic American dishes (think burgers, salads, barbecue pork and steak dishes).
