This sprawling resort backs the soft white sands of Magazine Beach and is a great mix of languorous days and lively activities.
Royalton Grenada is one of those one-size-fits-all resorts. It’s spread out over 30 rolling acres that are home to manicured gardens, a lake and a wealth of facilities for guests both adults and kids. One of the most popular spots is the elevated pool area that separates the two beautiful beaches and has incredible 180-degree sea views that are particularly impressive at sunset. There’s the Royal Spa with a cluster of treatment rooms; a beachside massage under the shade of a covered platform comes highly recommended as does a spot of sunrise yoga.

Each of the 269 rooms and suites is cool, calm and features neutral décor shades. As one of the largest resorts on the island it should come as no surprise that the choice of accommodation is extensive – you have the Luxury Rooms which either have resort views, ocean views or are situated not far from the beach, the Luxury Junior Suites which have a small living area with sofa; some of these suites are set on the ground floor and have direct access to the beach from the terrace or steps down in to a shared swim-out pool. For more room, there are the Presidential and Chairman Suites which respectively have one and two bedrooms or two-, three- and four-bedroom options. Guests in the Luxury Junior Suites and upwards can enjoy the benefits of the Diamond Club which include butler service and complimentary access to the hydrotherapy circuits once per person per stay.
