A big and busy hotel in Downtown Toronto, the Chelsea Hotel has excellent facilities to enjoy after sightseeing. The city’s best shopping is within a ten-minute walk.

While the style and décor of the rooms at the Chelsea Hotel are nothing to write home about (or sharing on whatever social media is your vice), they’re adequate, if a little on the small side. But this isn’t the type of hotel you’d choose for swanky or spacious rooms. This is about selecting an affordable, yet comfortable, base in the middle of a city you are out and about exploring all day long.

There are almost 1600 rooms here. All those guests, plus throngs of business travellers using the expansive meeting spaces, are well served by teams of staff and a roster of facilities. Families choose the Chelsea Hotel for its children’s pool (complete with waterslide), kids’ zone, and teen zone. Couples don’t miss out, though. There’s an adults-only pool and fitness centre too.

Though the bars and restaurants of Toronto are all within easy reach, the hotel makes eating and drinking super convenient with its Market Garden restaurant with a self-service section, patio area, separate coffee bar, and wine bar. Alternatively, T Bar offers a more refined ambience if you’re looking to linger over dinner and drinks.
