Thailand Honeymoon Suggested Itinerary
A couple’s Thailand holiday taking you from the rainforest to the city via the beach.

Recommended itinerary
Days 1-3
Chiang Mai
First up it’s Chiang Mai, a wonderfully laid-back city that’s packed with heritage sites. A half-day highlights tour is included to tick off these must-see attractions, as is a street food tour. During this post-sunset experience, you can sample the eclectically influenced flavours of Northern Thailand.
Day 4
Chiang Rai
Tonight’s accommodation is a real highlight of this itinerary; you’ll stay in one of the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort’s bubble lodges, a domed transparent room furnished with a comfy king-size bed that’s set on a raised platform. You’ll be able to watch the camp’s roaming herd as the light fades and again when the sun rises and perhaps begin the day with a yoga class with a breathtaking back-drop.
Days 5-7
Koh Phi Phi
Swap the jungle for a paradise island as you head to Koh Phi Phi. The name conjures up images of turquoise seas and talcum-white beaches framed by towering limestone karsts, and you’ll have a couple of full days to see it at you own pace. You’ll stay at Saii Phi Phi Island Village, a resort with Thai design and 70-acre grounds so there’ll be plenty of romantic hideaway spots.
Days 8-11
Phuket
Another island awaits, this time it’s ever-popular Phuket. Your base will be the all-pool-villa hotel The Shore at Katathani, a wonderful bolthole climbing up the hillside above Kata Noi Beach. While you would be forgiven for retreating to your villa during your whole stay, we’ve included a full-day cruise to the Similan Islands, an archipelago that’s more than worthy of a magazine cover.
Days 12-13
Bangkok
A couple of nights soaking up the thriving atmosphere of the Thai capital and experiencing the ultra-luxury of the Banyan Tree Bangkok rounds off your romantic adventure. A half-day Bangkok Your Way experience is included so you can visit your choice of the must-see sights, and a Muay Thai Boxing Class – a fun and educational activity to do with your partner.
