Was staying for the New Year holiday here. Nice place- hotel situated on the Rock mountain. Villas with private pool can give you really private holiday. Service is pretty good - very good restaurants, wonderful breakfast and ala-cart dinners with fresh seafood. Love Vietnam and especially this hotel. Stuff is very helpful, even if you're asking something extra. They will find a way.
Excellent Place !
We spent 4 memorable days at Mia in august . The resort was not busy and we could receive the full attention from the team . Everything was excellent and pleasant . Our front beach bungalow was very comfortable and well located. Special positive note for the bedding and mattress quality . The staff is extremely nice and serve with high professionalism . The food was OK , even though the card was quite limited and some dishes missing given the low number of guests . The beach is OK , bit stony ... We will come back for sure , and most probably will try bungalow on the rocks which allows to get magnificent view on the ocean .
Great Resort, good service
We had a great time at Mia Hotel Nha Trang for 8 days. Nice and Friendly team. Nice resort, well maintained facilities and garden. We can hear the trucks from the road beside but it's not critical. Good food at the restaurant. Hotel is very large & long (2.5 Km long) so ensure that your room is close to restaurant and pool otherwise you will feel isolated and need to call the buggy every time you want to go back to your room... I think they really need to replace their bed mattresses which seems to be old and not comfortable at all.. this is a shame for a 5 start hotel. Beach and water can sometimes be very dirty with a lot of plastic but the hotel team is cleaning twice a day which is good. Good hotel overall
Stunning Resort Ever!!!
This resort has romantic smell from lovely flowers "frangipani" that in Aussieland we call it "dead man's fingers". Photos i took it in villa 811, one of 12 huge five bedroom villas with beachfront view where we could watch sunrise and sunset, big private swimming pool, comfortable sofa and dinning table next to BBQ outdoor. On the whole road to these villas, there are gorgeous lesser bougainvillaea growing. We could see how hard the ground team worked and took care of the plants but still gave away smiles everytime they saw us. With people who loves natural like us, we really enjoyed staying there and absolutely we are going to visit again and again. We went to snorkel trip at Mia reef with tour guides Mr. Chi and Mr. Van that have rich knowledge of sea animals. I catched a blue linckia ans pincushion starfish, first time i saw nemos in real life which i only saw on TV before, an shiny angel fish, cleaner wrasse chased to domino around green coral reef, there are many kind of corals I can't tell all. We had a wonderful experience with them and other guests from that trip. At Sandals, there is kayaking besides swimming at the beach and pool. We had very good classic burger, real Vietnamese dishes and fresh pizzas at the pool side. One more thing I most appreciate that all the staff here is super friendly, attentive, professional and responsive. Highly recommend for couples and families that want to have fantastic holiday!!!
Overpriced and underrated
I booked this resort for my big family and I after staying at down town for 2 days, we check-in on 17/7 and check-out on 20/7, thinking that we could use a bit of luxury and relaxation. This resort is very far from it. The resort itself is outdated and bad designed(so it broke my plan to take some good photos and video clips), the private pool is so ugly that we can’t find anywhere to have some good picture. My room (in Villa 806) is so small and dated with a terrible view. There is no bathtub in the bathroom ???. What 5* resort is that ??? It deserve 3* . The funny thing is we can’t swim in the beach. There are so many stones, rock, dead coral and jellyfish. Breakfast at the main restaurant is very poor, there is not much choice for all of us. We have to wait about 30mins for a dish of broken rice, if we need to have the second dish (like omelet, fried egg, broken rice…) we must pay for that ???? (this is buffet ???). We did stay in many 5* resort in Viet Nam, and this is absolutely the worst one. In conclusion, just really disappointed. Really struggle to see how this can justify being 5* and the room prices. We are sorry to have to write a negative review as we were expecting so much.”
