Significant Life-Altering Experience... transitioning for one night... Like a completely different world.
Most people think of hotels as a customary experience to fit an immediate need, or at least I used to. I have come across some recent success and have had one of the hardest years on my business at the same time. I had to transition between locations of Vietnam and another country requiring that I stay in Ho Chi Minh for one night to bridge the strange flight times brought on as a hallmark of this generation defining year that shall not be named as we are all bored of it... which led me into one of the most fascinating and surprising experiences of my life: a booking for a single night at the Park Hyatt Saigon. The wealth of character in their operation, humanity's warmth and compassion embodied in the staff, a means to move on from the past and look forward to the future, the reminders we all need came out of every interaction with the staff paired with their extensive amenity variety. Idk, experience for yourself it's hard to put this into words, when you literally feel like you don't have a need in the world for just a moment of time. I'm looking into staycations for Park Hyatt's after this for years to come.
Superb, as always
It’s the people at the Hyatt who really make a difference. They always go the extra mile to make you want to return - from front desk to door staff - the best in Saigon without a doubt. The staycation package is very good value for money.
Best Christmas out of my country ever
The atmosphere that Marc Waltz and his team created was magical. Attention to details like rarely seen and spectacular food. I did not miss Italy this Christmas. This on top of the already famous service of Saigon Park Hyatt
I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I got the upgrade to the garden view room: beautiful and spacious room. Fantastic food at Opera, extremely helpful and service-minded staff, big credit to the trainer at the swimming pool. He gave useful tips for swimming skills. I have never experienced such services at other hotels before. I will definitely look forward to coming back to the hotel.
In a League Of Its Own!
The Park Hyatt Saigon is truly in a class of its own in Saigon. When you walk into the Park Hyatt you immediately feel that you are in a special place. The level of service remains as it was, exceptionally high. Whilst other hotels have lost their soul and charm and dropped their level of their service and cut costs and corners, the Park Hyatt Saigon is in a league of its own and aside from the safety measures in place its business as normal. The perfection attitude of the staff reminds me of some of the Grand Dame's of the world like Raffles, The Peninsula HK, Claridges & The Dorchester, it is faultless, professional and helpful. As a Food & Wine fanatic, the food quality be it Opera or Square One is always superior. The weekend breakfast in Opera is world class, dinner in Square One is a delight from Oysters to Vietnamese dishes. I do find the wine list a little underwhelming for such a magnificent hotel, and a little pricey. The 2 Lam Son Bar has an international, classy, elegant feel with an exceptionally talented Bar Manager (Simon) and a great team of enthusiastic and passionate staff. The rooms are spacious and elegant, although the electric plug in points are outdated and tricky to handle and the shower next to the bath is somewhat awkward, let's hope there will be a re-fit in the next few years and the quality of the hotel continues to match the quality of its management and staff. When I visit Saigon, Park Hyatt is my home from home!
