Park Hyatt Saigon
Beautiful hotel. Central location and close to many Saigon attractions including Opera House, Reunification Palace etc. Excellent attention by staff but disappointed that all staff felt it is necessary to wear masks.
My favorite hotel in one my favorite cities
This is our second day at the Saigon Park Hyatt. Everything here is near perfect: The room, the location, the service. I’m not sure if there’s anything they can do to improve and that’s a high compliment. This is not only one of my favorite hotels in Saigon/Ho Ch Minh City but also one of my favorite Hyatt’s and hotels anywhere. I honestly can’t wait until my next visit
More than impressed
A beautiful, perfectly located hotel in the city centre. Walkable distance to the market, cathedral, post office and many other sights. Very comfortable rooms, great service, lovely pool, setting. A bit pricy but to be expected for this level of attention. Highly recommend.
EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY!
We stayed at the Hyatt Saigon for a couple of days, end January. Everything from the staff to the rooms and the pool was just amazing. Breakfast is awesome specially the Vietnamese cuisine. We had the hi tea at the hotel lobby which was just awesome. Loved the Hotel in every way!
Loved the hotel, but staff could be better
Everyone has raved about the hotel, so I shan’t repeat the same points. I typically prefer hotels with a more contemporary style, but Park Hyatt Saigon was very comfortable and nicely designed. The pool area was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic (try the pho). Globalist members get to enjoy the suites, which are very luxurious. Below are a few points for constructive feedback: 1) I wish the hotel could be more environmentally sustainable, though I understand Hyatt as a group is moving towards that. For instance, are there more environmentally sustainable alternatives for the plastic bottles of water and bath amenities? I brought my own water bottle but could not find a water dispenser in the common areas of the hotel or my floor (there was one on the 8th floor, but not the 9th where my room was). 2) I love the windows in the rooms, but unfortunately they don’t completely keep the light out. Are there blackout options that can be installed? 3) The staff is most professional, but I found them less affable and warm than what I’ve experienced in other parts of Vietnam (eg, Hyatt Regency Danang). I also want to share an observation I made during my stay of a few expat staff. Every morning, I would see a few of them sitting at the bar counter of Opera having breakfast. Breakfast is the busiest time for a hotel restaurant. I found it strange that instead of helping out, they’re adding to the work load of the rest of the staff. I have attached a photo that I took of one female staff. I stayed at the hotel for three days, and all three mornings, she was there leisurely having breakfast, and then not clearing after she’s done. I’m not too sure if this is acceptable practice at the hotel, or perhaps she’s a paying customer.
