Great & relaxing place
We stayed as a group in Maia during the Christmas days. It was a wonderful experience and Maia went out there way to make it a few special days. Lots of little, thoughtful touches here and there to make us feel special. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, the staff very nice, the rooms very clean and modern. Something to highlight is the eco-friendliness of the resort. Almost no plastic to be found anywhere - love it! Gym has very new and high end equipment.
The Best Ever!
I have stayed at this resort 4 times and will keep coming back whenever I can. It's location on the beach is beyond fabulous. The villas are ridiculous pampering, each with its own pool, which is a lovely addition. The restaurants have beautifully decor and match the very simple, clean lines that permeate the whole atmosphere at Fusion Maia. The staff are super friendly, polite, willing to help with anything. The shuttle service is superb. The General Manager - both the former and the current - is genuinely interested in the welfare of each and every guest. All spa treatments are included in the price, and the spa manager is totally given over to provide guests with the most pampering treatments. But the creme de la creme of this resort is its chef, who is talented beyond words, and who creates everything from local supply, including from his unbelievable home grown herb garden. Will I come back again? Yes! At any opportunity. I have even brought my groups here for experiences that they talk about years afterwards.
great location on the beach, BUT.............
we were already travelling through Vietnam , when virus struck, we spent 7 days at Maia Fusion. The hotel itself is wonderful. Choice of restaraunts/bars, lovely pool at individual villas. Hotel provides shuttle bus to Hot An and back throughout day and evening, good trip. The villas had everything you will need. The staff, throughout the hotel were wonderful and hotel is set on a long stretch of beach. The sea wasn't ideal for swimming though. As it was March 2020 , not many guests at the hotel so main restaurant was closed halfway through visit. The hotel is around 60-90 minutes drive from Ba Na Hills , worth a visit . What ruins the experience here is the 2 tower , 20+ floor construction right next door, we were made aware of this when booking but it is on websites now. They build long hours and is very noisy. It was due to finish sometime 2020. Summary, lovely hotel, lovely staff, not so lovely construction.
Very nice place, but buyer beware; construction going on
We stayed in Fusion Maia for a week on our honeymoon, and we can wholeheartedly recommend the place. However, you should wait untill the huge construction next door has quieted down, as it is very noisy, and really affects the tranquil atmosphere of the place. The spa treatments are included in the price, and that is a very nice addition. We should mention, however, that the english skills of the spa people were not always that good. This did not really bother us too much though. The staff was generally extremely friendly, and the guests should always take full advantage of the persolalised fusionista service that the resort offers. The breakfast was the best I have ever eaten.
stayed at Fusion Maia for over a week with my yoga group, where 2 daily treatments, tai chi, meditation, 2 fine swimming pools, sauna, a variety of good food was like a luxurious dream. We were very well looked after by beautiful people in such a beautiful place by the sea. Great attention to detail; eg flowers, daily messages, aromatic tea & oils after every treatment. And even a small cinema. A generous Vietnamese or western breakfast served on the beach is a highlight.
