Bad Service at Six Senses Con Dao
We had a 2 night summer vacation at Six Senses Con Dao, Viet Nam, from May 12-14, 2021. Confirmation booking number: 5912006. We have very bad experiences at Six Senses Con Dao about the Housekeeping Service quality, bad service and bad quality of Food and bad cooking skill of Chef at the Restaurant . At the first day, there were a serious problem with the room and Ms Marisa upgraded the room for us. But after that there were serious errors occurred .She only recorded them, but did not offered us anything. Ms. Marisa told us it was "due to her generosity" when she upgraded the Villa for us which really shocked us quite a bit. I think she's doing us a favor??? Her statement made us so angry. As we deserve high service quality equal to the the high room rate we paid When there is a serious problem with such a room, it is the Resort's obligation to change rooms and upgrade to please the guests, why would Ms Marisa say that??? If it is to change room, we have to take time & effort to clean up our clothes and other things and have to move outside in the hot sun. So it is reasonable for Six Senses Con Dao to upgrade the room instead of changing it, so that to please us. But why does Ms Marisa tell us it's because of her generosity??? Also the Occupancy at that time was very low due to the Covid 19. We were very angry and were not satisfied .We disgareed with Ms Marisa's solution of solving these serious problems that ruined our holidays.Then we sent a letter to complain about these serious promblem to Mr Neil CEO of Six Senses and Mr Guy , COO of Six Senses. Mr Guy replied us as following "I was happy to learn, that after you had given your valuable comments to Ms Marisa Fernandes, she had already offered you an upgrade and a dinner to ensure you and your dear mother were able to enjoy the stay while you were still at the resort." I was shocked when Mr Guy said that Ms Marisa had already offered us the dinner to satisfy us .But actually Ms Marisa lied as she did not offer us any dinner ,as we had to pay the full Bill when checking out .We reported this fact to Mr Guy and sent him a photo of this Bill as a proof . This is the first time we experience about the lying of a General Manager of a well known Resort like Six Senses Con Dao Finally, after the investigation, Mr Guy has offered us a suitable compensation .
Lovely, great experience but need to refurbish
The scenery, the location, the service, the people, all very lovely and nice but I feel the amenities and our room can use some updating. Aluminum doors are just too functional in my humble opinion. And the glass on doors are all scratched, laminated, blurry. Food is ok. I will wait until they refurbish to consider going back.
Beautiful location, fantastic accommodation, amazing restaurants & very welcoming & friendly staff. Highly recommend. Venturing out of the hotel is a good experience, plenty to see do. Shame about the weather, choose your season carefully.
Perfect birthday getaway
We spent 2 nights at Six Senses Con Dao with beautiful view, natutal and private beach. We were upgraded to an Ocean front duplex villa which had amazing view, few steps straight to the beach and an infinity pool. The food was not had many choices for us but it was tasted good. All the staff is friendly especially our GEM Vi who had a surprise birthday for me and took great care of us, thanks again!! We really enjoyed and it hard to leave. Definitely comeback soon maybe we would stay for a week 🤣🤣
Beautiful vacation with my family!
We had a beautiful time travelling with my family at the Six Senses Con Dao. Staying 2 nights at the resorts were all welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant served nice food for us (they made for our 15-month son complimentary food everyday) It truly is an amazing island - beautiful resort and so many things for children to do. Special thank to GM, Managers and our kindly GEM (his name is An) for all beautiful moments!
