Everything is good! Excellent location close The White House! Breakfast $10 each. I would stay again, excellent staff Close to everything, very comfortable rooms 100% Very helpful I recommend this hotel 100%

Slightly disappointed

While the hotel itself is good place to stay, I would not recommend as the front desk was extremely rude and condescending when I asked about parking. I wasn’t aware that it was Emancipation day during the time of my stay and with each question I asked I received a very unnecessarily rude answer. Maybe they were just having a bad day. But as a member and partner of the Hilton, I was extremely disappointed. I will be taking my business elsewhere moving forward.

Excellent customer service made our weekend stay memorable!

We originally booked at the Madison Hilton but the renovations were not completed so they moved our reservation to the Capital Hilton. There was a mix-up with the transfer, but Theresa from the Capitol Hilton spent the time on the phone with us to accommodate our original requests. From the time we arrived until we left the employees here were friendly and extremely helpful. We were very happy with our weekend here!

A most pleasant stay in the Capital

I can’t say enough about the accommodating staff — from the GM to the cleaning team — at Capital Hilton. Our recent stay in the majestic Presidential Suite was truly blissful. The hotel is immaculate, the employees are friendly and helpful, the location is optimal ... Two days weren’t nearly enough to enjoy the vast suite alone, never mind all that D.C. has to offer! We caught the tail end of the Yoshino cherry blossoms and witnessed plenty of the Ichiyo, Ukon and Kanzan variety — plus gloriously bright tulips and daffodils greeting us from parks and the district’s meticulous sidewalk gardens. The four restaurants we visited — located in the Downtown, Georgetown and Chinatown neighborhoods — strictly adhered to COVID-19 protocols, thus we felt safe and reassured. The crowds were minimal and the weather was bright and comfortable. We generally felt safe wherever we went. It was a most pleasant weekend getaway, thanks in great part to our Capital Hilton home base.

Great Hotel Experience

My wife works remote from home but we wanted a little change in scenery and decided to come to DC and work from the hotel. We are so glad we picked the Hilton Capitol. It’s an older hotel but well kept. The restaurant and bar was closed because of COVID, but you have plenty of other options within walking distance. But they do have breakfast take out options. But what makes this hotel stand out is their staff. Everyone of them stand out and always greeting us coming in and going out. True professionals and they always make you feel like you are part of their family. Theresa Thomas was especially someone who stood out. Whenever we had any requests she always went up and beyond to make sure they were taken care of. She was always so pleasant and you could tell she loved her job any always wanted to make sure guests felt special. I don’t give many 5 star reviews, but the Capitol Hilton and especially the staff are deserving.
