Best hotel service
The best service you can ask for. Front desk is very quick, kind, and friendly. Aeenan helped me so much with everything from showing my room, helping with my luggage, just about anything. The place is very sophisticated and clean, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Would loveeee to stay there again!
I really wanted to like this hotel, it was recommended to me by a couple friends who stayed frequently in the past. I want to blame covid protocols but I don't necessarily think that was it. Besides a great location, that was about the only positive. And the bed was comfortable. First the room, was just run down and so basic. The lights? Don't even get me started on whatever person created that button system. The view I had was great though. The fridge wouldn't open. The blow dryer didn't work. There was one tiny trash can in the bathroom. We were sparingly given two towels, one each. The toiletries were awful. Just all little things that when you stay at high end hotels, are standard, you shouldn't have to ask. This was not the case here. The staff was nice for the most part, minus the one morning it rained, and I asked for umbrellas, and the girl at the desk had a major attitude problem about it. Another day we asked for recommendations of places to go eat/grab a drink outside and the staff was clueless. Gave us 1 recommendation. I understand NYC has been closed down for quite some time but come on, they looked so confused. Then the desk girl made some comment about us wanting to go party? I was like it's 2:00 in the afternoon, we just want to go some drinks and apps and sit outside. When someone travels to a city, they expect the staff to be knowledgable of the area and have decent recommendations. The worst. Food options, absolutely terrible. The one cafe that serves breakfast had a "limited" menu. With ONE option for food that wasn't a pastry. What kind of cafe in a hotel literally has one option. Room service? Nope. You'd think a hotel that's supposed to be "high end" would have room service and food options for late night or early morning. Just sad. The bars weren't open in the hotel. We wanted to get a cab to take us to JFK? Nope, they didn't have anyone to help us do that. Unheard of. There was no doorman. No one helped with anything. Overall? Disappointed. Would not stay here again. Take your money elsewhere because I have stayed at hotels in the city with less stars than this one and had 100x better service. Again, I want to blame covid but honestly, I don't think that is it.
My sister celebrated her bachelorette here last week & the experience was just amazing from check in to check out. Everyone is so kind there especially Keenan. My family & I loved him. Made sure our stay was one to remember.
Had a really nice stay this past weekend, nice lively place to be. My girlfriend and I want to give a huge shoutout to Keenan for his helpful advice and pleasant attitude throughout our stay. Definitely would recommend for a nice trendy weekend getaway.
Amazing stay …. Again lol. Big shoutout to Keenan he accommodated us a couple weeks ago and was very consistent again in making our family and friends feel welcomed. This weekend was very important to us. The hotel staff was great.
