Not the best choice
We live in Florida so we look forward to Orlando wknd getaways. We usually stay on Disney property but decided to try a Universal property hotel. We arrived at 3:30 and was told check in was at 4 and they would text us when room was available.I checked back with them at 4:30 and was told they had computer problems and check in was delayed. We sat in the lobby with many others also waiting for a room. There was no communication from the staff updating us of the situation. At 5:30 I approached the desk again and was finally given a room. We grabbed our bags and made our way to the room. As we entered the room we were greeted by a hollar as a man was just exiting the shower. We quickly exited the room and headed back to the lobby and waited in line once again for a room.I understand these things happen but it was disappointing as it cut into the limited time we had to enjoy the property.
winter get away
very nice hotel we normally stay at hard rock or portofino but they were booked. We really enjoyed this hotel it was clean convenient and staff was very friendly. The board came by regularly so no problem getting to the parks. e has a roll away cot in 2 queen bedroom, the fit was tight but it worked out.
First family trip
Had a wonderful 4 days here. Excellent service at all stops. Shout out to Henry at Amitista. BEST server ever!! Caleb the water taxi driver was super awesome too. Thanks to all for making our family trip amazing!
My husband and I came to Orlando for our honeymoon and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sapphire Falls, We stayed in the Sapphire Suite and it was amazing! The room was spacious, clean, and suited our needs perfectly. The balcony was my favorite feature! We enjoyed having the water taxi so close to get us back and forth to the parks and Citywalk. The front desk/concierge staff were great and willing to answer any questions. The only thing I found a little weird was the limited interaction of the senior staff. There were 2 separate occasions when we would have preferred to speak to a manager. However, the management team wasn't willing to come from their back offices to speak with the guests. It was very off-putting. Other than that, we would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and it would be our first choice when we return to the Orlando area. Thanks Loews Sapphire for making our honeymoon a great one!
Not worth the price and not up to par with "resort" title.
The shower was clogged and had 8-10 inches of water in it when you turned it on. There was trash on the bathroom floor behind the counter, pretty gross. There was no microwave and the fridge barely worked. The coffee machine barely worked either. And every time we came into the room, our sheets were super damp so it was clear the dehumidifying system didn't work at all. The room temperature was almost impossible to control, it was always too hot or too cold. Barely any outlets in the room. Was NOT up to par with the price we paid and the "resort" title, we are incredibly disappointed with our stay and will not be recommending Loew's to anyone.
