Best South Beach Hotel!
This hotel is simply amazing - combining the charm and aesthetic of the Art Deco days of SoBe and the convenience of today. The staff, literally everyone, is so welcoming and kind. The worst part of our stay was having to leave. The rooms are beautifully appointed with spacious baths and not a bad view in the hotel. We enjoyed the pool bar as well - and the service on the beach was outstanding. We can’t wait to come back!!
Amazing Royal Palm Beach Staff
We wanted to give a shout out to the incredible Royal Palm Beach staff. Chase and Curvin (?), the beach mangers, were incredibly attentive and accommodating. They always had a smile and were ready to help. I also want to acknowledge the other beach staff. Each one of them worked so hard to make sure every guest was taken care of. Specifically, the gentleman who got our food and drink, Alam, was one of the nicest people we met and helped make our beach days fantastic. These young men were so kind and helpful; it was a pleasure spending our beach days with them.
Great Location, OK Hotel
Terrific location, right on the beach. The pool area is comfortable and the bar service was great. The overall feel to the hotel and room seemed dated though and the fact that the fridge wasn't usable was quite disappointing.
I recently stayed at the Royal Palm for my birthday weekend and I loved it. I would like to thank the front desk team for their quick service, they gave me an early arrival and a nice room. They were all very nice and accommodating. The gentleman that helped me with my luggage was also very helpful and friendly. Great service overall. I will definitely be coming back next year.
Sadly they’re not following Covid-19 precautions.
THIS PROPERTY IS NOT BEING SAFE AND NOT FOLLOWING MIAMI BEACH HOTEL GUIDELINES FOR REOPENING RIGHT NOW. I would never expect anyone to be wearing a mask while eating or at their seat by the pool but in elevators or walking through the lobby etc they should be. As a matter of fact Miami Beach’s reopening plan calls for it. The staff are not informing anyone about it. You would think at check in they would mention the mask policy and they should say something when they’re walking through the lobby etc without it. They have visitors from everywhere and they need to be giving friendly reminders for the safety of all the guest and the rest of the people working here. Speaking of check in, the front desk staff weren’t wearing masks. They were behind plexiglass but they’re still taking my license and credit cards and handing me room keys. Some of their staff (even security by the pool) is doing things around the property with a mask over their mouth but pulled below their nose. I HONESTLY FEEL UNSAFE. They could easily do a better job but I guess not having any rules is the priority here. As for the rest of the hotel, it has a lot of potential but fails a lot in room cleaning. My shower has mold for example. Different people at the pool with their own boom boxes going off. Nothing relaxing or at least a cohesive party out there. I guess you get what you pay for here. As a Marriott Titanium member I’ll never have a staycation at this property again.
