This hotel was very nice . Great staff and close by places. Big shout out to Kenner , Rufat and Carlos for great costumer service and late check out at no cost and excellent costumer service while taking care of us. Definitly coming back .
I loved the location. Close to lots of restaurants (my favorites were Havana 1957 and Charlotte’s Bakery), Starbucks, drug stores. It’s an easy walk to the Art Deco lifeguard stations and Ocean Drive hotels. Zip Car was five minutes away. There are a lot of wings in the hotel so I’m not doubting other people had issues with mildew or cleanliness but my room was nice. Everything is decorated very nicely with modern finishes. If I had to complain it’s more the stuff isn’t luxurious, more functional, but that’s not really a big deal. Everyone seemed to wear masks indoors. People were pretty good about sticking four to an elevator. The only issue I had was the pool signs need some adjusting, as from my marked up photos. The sign says they close at 10 but people kick you out at 9 saying it reopens at 7. But when it reopens at 7, there is no towel attendant until about 9:15. You can get some from the front desk before they run out. The pool is not heated but the hot tub doesn’t start running until two complaints to the front desk a little over two hours after it opens. We were there since opening and saw lots of other confused people wondering where to get towels and some spent some time in the hot tub even though it wasn’t on. I get that staffing is tough but you could be like the Renaissance in Fort Lauderdale that has self serve towels and a hot tub that turns on with a button. They did waive the resort fees for this, so if you have an issue, speak up!
Great service on the beach
I spent a day on the beach and Chase and Andy are doing a great job making sure chairs, towels are set up just right - thanks guys!! Fresh towels whenever needed and plenty of attendants to get drinks, food, etc.
RUFAT HANDS DOWN HAS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN SOUTH BEACH !!
I travel to South Beach at least 4 times per year and this year i decided to give THE ROAYL PALMS a try. The customer service that "RUFAT" demonstrated with me and my guest at the front desk was nothing short of FANTASTIC ! From his professionalism, patience, knowledge of his job and great positive energy I can't see me staying anywhere else in Miami other than THE ROYAL PALMS HOTEL

This hotel was such a great deal! everything is clean, the rooms have mazing views! and they upgraded our room as soon as we checked in for a great price! so Thank you Kenner for doing that for us. The beach was super clean and the pool is amazing, specially the jacuzzi because it was enormous. all the stores and retaurants are walking distance which you will save in $$ from an uber or taxi. Definitly comming back. Big thanks to Kenner and Rufat for such amazing and fast costumer service . definitly comming back for more.
