Changed my $ Rate per night after arrival
Terrible. They agreed on reservation line to $319 per night then after staying 3 days my rate changed to $529 on my folio. I called front desk and they agreed to reduce to original rate - they even sent a care package to the room as an apology. However, after arriving home they charged my credit card again for the difference in rate. I called again, wasting more of my time, and the agreed to fix. I disputed with my credit card company and the hotel said I owed the money. Never stay here as they over charged me.

Clean, elegant. Wanted to take a minute & thank Jaheim for the friendly looking out for us while we were there. He was courteous & attentive, a model employee. Thank you for the great hospitality, Sir!
nice place to stay in Miami Beach
Stayed 7 dias with family here 2 adults and 2 teens. Nice place . Room ok. One of the problems we had was the wifi since we were 4 and the connection was saturated and bad. This because it did not allow 4 connections and blocked my phone. The people at the front desk and concierge tried to help. I also sent a note to the manager but got no reply. Haven¨t had that problem at other hotels before incluiding other Loews. We ate at the poolside and beachside snacks which were ok except for one server at the beach who was not very courteous and practically threw our order at us. Obiously no tip for her. At check out they charged me a drink I never ordered or recieved at the beach. Because I dont drink that type of beer. They removed it from my check out bill. All in all my stay was ok but it could have been better. For example once at a Loews Hotel in Orlando a waiter messed up our order and the client attention manager dropped by promptly to apologize and later sent us a gift basket to our room.. Nice gesture. That was not the case here.. A lesson could be learned here that not all Loews are the same.
Beautiful property, pleasant staff
First time in Miami Beach and we were very pleased with our stay at Loews. Our room was good size and kept quite clean - some issues with water and shower door but not enough to change rooms. Bellman and concierge were very kind and helpful, front desk could have used more staff and have been a bit welcoming upon check-in. We ate poolside and at Bar Collins numerous times and started most days at Morning Joe. Food always very good and nice selection. Pool was beautiful and private beach great - never had a problem getting service at either location. We also used the fitness center and took advantage of morning meditation class. If I return to Miami, would definitely consider another stay at Loews - good location and nice amenities.
The resort is gorgeous and the staff is extremely friendly. We especially want to give a ton of praise to Jarrell and Jaheim at the ocean. They both were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband is a bit picky about where the beach chairs and umbrella are set up and they both went above and beyond to insure everything was to his liking. We also received wonderful service from the waitress Milena on the deck of the hotel and the waiter Ahmet at the Lure restaurant. Andrea at the front desk was also wonderful upon check in, getting us a room with a gorgeous view. Johan who is the event manager was quick to help and answer our questions when we were touring the hotel. I really like the option of the text concierge that the hotel offers. It's so easy and convenient. The staff there is quick to answer and provide assistance. Overall our stay was fabulous. Beautiful resort, very clean, luxury linens and towels, beautiful spa. I only took one star off because we held the room with a credit card but then paid with our debit. The hold on our credit card would not be removed for a 7 to 10 business days. The manager on duty Cortney was polite and professional but unapologetic. We had to convince him to call the merchant services phone number that our credit card provided. The credit card company then informed us later when we had already left the hotel that the merchant services did not have record of the hotel manager calling. Overall we lost at least an hour dealing with the situation that day and then another half hour the next day where our credit card got the hotel on a four way call with merchant services. There was also a charge for water that we did not use so make sure you check your bill.
