Incredible family friendly resort in Miami!!!
My wife and I and our four kids just stayed here with my sister/brother in law and their three kids. We had a blast! The hotel/rooms were amazing. The views overlook South Beach. The food was delicious. The cabanas/pool area was awesome. And the hotel staff/service was perfect! I would highly recommend staying here.
Bryan Rodrigues was a great server while we enjoyed our time on the beach!! Drinks and food tasted great and the service was fast. Definitely a time to remember!! Margaritas definitely recommended! :)
Perfectly located, with many restaurants and bar, pool is great. The hotel is renovated and there is a good atmosphere in the lobby! Me and my wife had an amazing stay there and we raccomend it for a fun week end
Good Location, Great Beach, Nickle'd and Dime'd for Everything
We decided to come down to Miami to get some sun over this past MLK Weekend. We arrived in the early morning off of a red eye from the West Coast and thankfully, we were allowed access to our room. The St. Moritz tower is next to the main tower and is not nearly as nice as the main tower rooms and calling the Moritz Lobby an actual lobby is a bit of a stretch. Room was small and had an ocean view, however a bit different from how it appeared online (common). There were dents to the vanity and the windows seemed a bit dirty. The pool is awesome, however many guests do not follow the rules when it comes to Covid, which makes you strategize where and when you want to set up shop near the pool. The Beach is very nice, not many vendors, and chairs are comfy (included in 36 dollar resort fee). The downsides to the beach are that the hotel asks for close to 30 dollars for a standard umbrella (there were plenty around) and close to 140.00 for a cabana. The pool cabanas are also not included in the resort fee. The pool security does not allow cans containing alcoholic beverages, however we were not stopped having them at the beach (No Glass Bottles of course). The food and bev prices are also very high. We ordered three regular sized well drinks and chips/salsa at the pool bar and it came to over 127.00. If you order food and drinks at the beach, there is an additional "Beach Service Charge" . Lastly, if you ask for a small, plastic table at the beach (retail for about 12 bucks at Costco), they will only provide when you have an open food or bev tag. All in all, a safe and pleasant place to stay, but either expect to ball out in extra expenses or come with a super frugal mindset. Location, Location, Location.
