But after several phone calls, signing up for email alerts, etc.. Nobody has every gotten back to me.. And that’s OK. Because, while the magazine ad in the American Airline magazine I saw was wonderful and compelling, clearly nobody works there. And if they do, they have so many visitors that they don’t need another one. I travel a lot. I spend money. My wife and I are always looking for something like this. But if you don’t want me, I don’t want you. Good luck. You’re going to need it
Closed due to hurricane
We drove by Little Palm on 10-1-18 and it is still closed - it's not looking good- nobody is working on the place. There is still a lot of damage in the middle keys a year after the hurricane. lots of places still have those blue tarps on their roofs and lots of buildings are not occupied.
Favorite Place of ALL Time
I don't even know where to start with how awesome I think Little Palm is..... From the minute we stepped off the airplane in Key West and picked up from our Little Palm driver to every minute on this secluded slice of heaven was perfect. I don't have one single "con" about this place - ok well maybe one, the mosquitoes and "no see ums" can be a tad pesky when there isn't a breeze at night but it would never stop me from going back (just bring bug spray). Our bungalow was amazing, the food was delicious, the service was probably the best I've ever experienced, the quiet was just what I needed, the key deer was adorable (and friendly) and the people we met were memorable. Our visit was in August 2016, it was HOT, very hot but I loved every single minute my husband and I were there for our anniversary and my birthday (which just happen to be a day apart). On our special days our dinner menus were personalized which was impressive and added just that extra special touch that meant the world to me. Our snorkeling adventure was by far the best I've been on in years and we traveled a lot to the Caribbean but never seen the amount of color I saw in the keys. My heart sank and broke when the hurricane of 2017 destroyed the island but was happy to hear that they are rebuilding and will re-open in 2019. I CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN! And I will return. Be prepared that this type of adventure and relaxation is pricey but worth every single penny. I left a piece of my heart on Little Palm and will forever be in love with this island.
An unbelievable and unforgettable oasis
Obviously we didn’t stay at Little Palm this month as it is still closed while being renovated after being hit by Hurricane Irma. But this review is long overdue. We had the pleasure of staying here three times in the 18 months before the storm. Every time was magical. Yes it’s pricey but worth it because of the peace and quiet and personal service. When we go somewhere it’s often just to get away from it all and do nothing. This is the perfect place for that. And of course activities abound if you’re looking for a different course to take. The food is wonderful. The staff is incredible. Thank you for introducing us to the Gumby Slumber! Very romantic and truly unforgettable. Our best to all the staff we met on our visits. Hope all is well.
Piece of Heaven
They cater too your every needs and you pay for it. This is where they filmed PT 109, Went here for a wedding and the Key Deer came up to the dinner table. This place is beautiful sitting in the middle of clean, blue water. The water taxi u take from the Overseas Highway is an amazing boat ride on a classic motor launch. A great time I will never forget.
