They charged me twice. The valet service doesn't work.
I stayed for 1 night and they charged me twice in my credit card, now I'm having a headache trying to solve this. I was at the hotel and I called to reception asking to the valet service to bring my car 10 minutes before, when I get there they just gave me my car key, useless service.
An amazing hotel, with excellent staff. Hotel is very clean. In the middle of downtown Naples. Access to many restaurants of your choice and very close to the beach. Hotel provides you with accessories to the beach.
Spa Broken, ADA Elevator Broken and Roaches
First is my birthday weekend. I selected the Inn on 5th because of its location and its amenities. A pool and spa at the rooftop of the Inn and also another spa located in club level. Recently having knee surgery, a nice, hot, spa was in order. But first let's get to the roach in the room in the bed. As we returned the second night to our room and turn down the lights a large roach about the size of your thumb came running across my bed and dashing under the pillows under the covers. Needless to say reported to the desk and they offered us another room over at Club level was it up charge of $50 per night. That's $100 we had to pay for the privilege of moving due to the palmetto bug being in my bed. Now back to the spas, the first spa located in the Inn on the roof did not function and had murky looking water as the jets weren't e working on it; that was Friday. Now it's Sunday and it's still not functioning. So over to the rooftop Spa at Club level we go only to be surprised that the Ada elevator doesn't function to the spa, which I need because I'm not totally ambulatory after knee surgery. You have to climb up approximately seven steps to get to the spa. So between the roach, us having to pay an extra $100 up-charge be moved to another room, and neither Spa working it was turning into a lovely weekend that I'm getting the privilege to pay $800 for. If I had wanted roaches and non-functioning Spas and no ADA elevator I would have went to a Motel 6 and gladly pay $59 a night. Of course, nothing about non-functioning spa or ADA elevator was mentioned upon checkin.
The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous. The pool deck has plenty of lounges chairs and a bar. I have stayed here many times and visited the spa several times - it’s a must! The only negative comment I have is the quality of the beach chairs and umbrella. They provide them and will even set them up for you, just low quality for a luxury hotel. This does not change how I feel about the hotel, it’s a favorite and has become a tradition for my daughter and I.
Great romantic weekend. The hotel was beautiful and the pool area was so relaxing and pretty. And we were able to get a Florida Resident rate, which made it more affordable for us and the location was perfect to walk to many wonderful restaurants and not very far from the beach. We didn't get back into our car until we had to leave.
