A local landmark
Affectionately known as the Pink Palace, this deluxe resort is an architectural masterpiece and a local landmark. Set beside the pristine sands of St. Pete Beach, it was a popular hangout for legends such as Al Capone and Zelda Fitzgerald. Years later, it still retains the same sense of grandeur and finesse with an award-winning restaurant serving only the finest regional produce and stylish rooms that are clean and bright with a welcoming beach feel.

Good to know
The hotel has been undergoing changes since its Phase I renovation in 2018, and so far has unveiled refurbishment to the lobby at the Beach House Suites and the courtyard, as well as new beach and pool furniture. In autumn 2019, The Don CeSar will complete Phase II, with property-wide renovations including the Lobby Bar, Uncle Andy's Ice Cream Parlor, Maritana Grille, Sea Porch and the Beach House Suites exteriors. Phase III will take place in summer 2020, with the renovation of all guest rooms to evoke the historic Art Deco feel of the 1920s – upgraded layouts will allow for two queen-size beds instead of doubles, while some bathtubs will be replaced by showers.
