Naples bay resort
We have a 9 lb dog that travels with us. Their rate was totally reasonable and the resort had great amenities and shuttle service to downtown etc. could rent boats, nice restaurant pools etc The only complaint was that the furniture wasn’t very comfortable but had washer and dryer kitchen and great view
The location is perfect and the rooms are spacious and very clean. All amenities that you need at a Resort are definitely at Naples Bay.. The swimming pool is beautiful with the pool bar which has good food. If you need shuttled anywhere it is available.
amazing place and location
this is an amazing property near downtown. the rooms are beautiful and the bedding was very comfortable. the onsite restaurants are great. the gym is nicely equipped and perfectly clean.the steam and sauna were a welcome amenity
Surprised at the High Reviews
I am a vacation home property manager and know how this all works. I chose very carefully this hotel. However, the first night we opened the bed, there were visible stains on the sheet. Housekeeping was accommodating, although I had to help remake the bed. As well, a lot of long black hairs in the shower/bathroom. Some towels are greyish. We did a tour of the pool facilites and while the interior was fine, the outdoor furniture is showing wear and tear and significants stains. I was hoping for higher standards with the reviews and stars ratings this hotel had gotten. We have informed the front desk of our findings in regards to the sheet and shower, were told management would contact us. No one has. Disappointing. As someone in the vacation rental industry I know all cannot be perfect but at least reach out to the guest. Obvious lack of concern. Disappointed.
I’ve had better room amenities at 3 star hotels
This was my 4th and maybe last stay. The place has the location (the marina view is great) and the check in staff friendly. Upon arrival at the front of the building, there was a line of unoccupied vehicles ahead of us. No activity for a few minutes. We were then greeted by “frenchie “ We were going out as soon as we checked in so we wanted to leave the car out front for a few minutes. Frenchie said we could not do that and to park in the self service parking lot. A very nice welcome frenchie! Upon check in and carrying my own luggage(which bothered me greatly) we checked in and got to our room. Nice room visually with wood floors. The view was fantastic., Although being on a higher floor you were at the same height as the top of the palm trees. Palm leaves sometimes obstruct the view. We had a room that overlooks the marina. The room itself was nice and clean. The problems started surfacing at night. Going to bed after a wonderful night out, the main bedroom door would not close. Apparently it has been forced open at one point and never fixed properly. The screws were coming out of the top hinge. Upon laying down, I searched for a firmer pillow. There were none in the room. All pillows were identical. Too soft for my taste. After getting up several times during the night because my neck and back were hurting because of the pillows, I finally got up for the morning. Turning on the shower to get warm, I looked for the shampoo and soap. There was no shampoo in the main bathroom. I had to go to the second bedrooms bathroom to get shampoo. Why at over $500 per night are these things not checked? Also, there was only one towel, large bath towels for the bathroom. Upon stepping into the shower it was overly hot. I could not regulate the temperature, and struggle to find the difference between cold and hot. The overly energy efficient water flow restricted temperature settings. Very disappointing shower. Waterflow was way too slow. The bathroom itself was lit poorly with these energy-efficient lights. Again, this is paying for a $500 room. Very poor lighting in the mirror made grooming less than desirable. The kitchen area offered a coffee maker and free coffee. I have had better coffee in three star hotels. You would think such a highly rated hotel would have better coffee in the rooms. How about a Keurig and coffee pods? Again, did I mentioned the room was $500 a night? After a horrible cup of coffee, we checked out.
