Nice hotel but dirty

We stayed one week with 1- and 3 year old kids. I found on 4th day strong painkiller pill under the bed, also lots of dirt and a skrew. I’m so glad my one year old didn’t find those first, it would have been extremely dangerous for him. / So the cleaning before we came to the room was done badly and also on that time we stayed in the hotel. Price and quality don’t match. Also the shuttle was not working to Bb&t

Terrific Location

We stayed for a Panthers/Blackhawks hockey game on 2/29 and were so happy with our choice. We got to the area early, as we intended for shopping and lunch at Sawgrass Mills. Or so we thought-this was before any advisories-and could not find any parking. And it's a HUGE mall. After a late lunch elsewhere we decided to try the hotel, and Bianca checked on the room I chose on my Hilton app and after a very brief wait she checked us in. Pleasant, professional and helpful she told us that the Diamond parking was around the corner, although there is a large free parking garage across from the lobby. We had a standard double with a view of the BBT Center from the window. Clean but a bit dated and in need of more electrical & USB plugs. Storage is excellent & plentiful. We did need to ask housekeeping for more TP & this was before hoarding! The shuttle dropped us at the BBT side of the mall & picked us up after the game. I thought it ran smoothly & I didn't mind the short wait but there was some grumbling about the amount of guests and some actually called Uber etc. We enjoyed the made to order eggstation at breakfast and the other selections. The fitness center was surprisingly large and well appointed for a hotel. Also to be commended for their pleasantness and help are Angie & Andrew. And of course the cookies!! Freely handed out without judgement!

Good hotel with

Took a quick shopping trip that was cut short because of coronavirus, as they closed down the mall. Hotel is in a great location and the service was really great. Tia, Shema? & David made a bad situation better with their positive and friendly attitude. This is a really grim time and everyone is anxious and panicky but the staff at this hotel were reassuring, upbeat and suggested places to get food since their restaurants were closed. I will definitely stay here again after all of this corona mess is over.

Great hotel at a convenient location

Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton to attend a Florida Panthers game. Upon check in we learned there was a free shuttle to get dropped off and picked up for the hockey game. Great bonus. Free parking located right in front of the hotel in a large parkade. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean as well as nice and large. Great welcome fruit and cheese plate. Breakfast was fantastic. I had the buffet and my hubby had the steak. Delicious. We will definitely stay here again.
