Rooms are Great || Off of the Strip || Great for our Small Bachelorette Party!
I've now stayed at most of the hotels on The Strip and I have to say, for the price, this is a favorite of mine. We booked a corner suite (for 6 girls total) and it had plenty of room. I ended up tipping more than usual for most of the employees I had encountered here. Biggest gripe though would be access to Vdara to and from the strip. It's a little further back, just like the Aria. However, there is the Tram (have to walk through the Bellagio) and to just walk through the Aria. The place also only has one place to eat (a market place) in the actual hotel and no casino. Also, if sharing a room with people you hardly know, you will get to know them quickly. There is no door enclosing the toilet and it's next to the glass shower. There are doors to the actual bathroom, but when sharing with 6 girls, privacy wasn't an option. I did book through a timeshare company, but monitored sales and deals for a couple of months before we went, it still had the best deal for the size and price. I will definitely consider staying here again. I really considered 5 stars, especially with the level or service received and the Pool Cabana was a sweet deal with private pools for a section of 3-4 cabanas. (See review under Vdara Pool & Lounge) However, the inaccessibility to the strip, food and gambling makes it difficult for me to give 5 stars!
Great location in Vegas
Great accommodations in Vegas - adjacent to the Aria. We appreciated the feel of a more boutique hotel in the middle of the huge hotels Vegas normally offers. Pool area seems a bit small due to the fact it's between two large buildings. Rooms are nicely appointed with a small desk/sitting area.
Good location hotel off the strip
Overall If you’re looking for a non-smoking, no casino hotel - then this is the place. Location Conveniently located just off the strip with a walkway through the Bellagio out onto the main strip. Very useful on hot days - of which there are many! Furnished in a modern style. Has the advantage of being very quiet at night whilst still being close to the hub of Las Vegas. Food and Drink Queuing likely for the on site breakfast room and Starbucks. Could do with more refreshment facilities for the size of the hotel, although the sister hotel is the Aria, a short walk away, which has many dining facilities. Room Nice room with lots of space. All rooms are suites with a kitchen and a dining area. No pots or cutlery are provided until you ask for them. Tea making facilities consisted of a stove type whistling kettle. We had a room with a view except the windows were dirty, you could barely see out of them. On reflection we should have reported that. Conclusion Would we stay there again - probably, very convenient location with easy access to the strip but not located on it.
Good, but not wow.
Overall I’m glad we chose hotel. We paid extra for fountain view room, it was ok, in hindsight it wouldn’t have bothered us not having that view. Check in was a pain, incompetent check in staff. We had $30 food and beverage credit per night, but I spent 20 mins after an 11 hour flight trying to convince them that they were trying to charge me about $20 per night extra for the room. Eventually they realised it was a computer error. No coffee machine and a complete rip off mini bar. The location was excellent. 3 min walk to Bellagio or Aria, 5 min walk to strip. Hotel was clean, non smokey. Would I stay again? Probably.
Stayed here for 4nights. Location wise is really good, a bit quieter than the main strip. Upon check in paid to upgrade to a corner suite which overlooked the main highway and few other hotels - not the best view. The room was really big, however cleanliness was disappointing - dirty pots in the dishwasher - dirty surfaces on table etc. Complained at reception and downgraded to a standard room which was more than adequate, although similar view. Unless you are getting good views, I wouldn't bother upgrading to corner suites. As this hotel doesn't have a casino it is a little more quiet. The shop on the ground floor was really expensive so didn't go there. Had a few trips to Starbucks in lobby which was ok. Not sure if I would stay again here. Did also stay at the Aria for a night and that was much nicer. (just felt a little more luxurious)
