Overall an alright experience.
The view was gorgeous, the room was nice and felt luxurious. However, cleaning issues were definitely a problem, as hairs were found all over specific parts, such as linens or opening the refrigerator door and having pieces of long hair fall out. I am a male with short hair for reference. I unfortunately couldn't sleep even though the linen was soft and the pillow was comfortable. The issue was that it was too hot, even with the air conditioner set to 65, it could not cool the room, even with blinds closed. However, rooms were really nice overall, and it was an alright experience.
Unclean room at the Bellagio
I brought my family (my wife and two kids) with me on this trip to celebrate my birthday. We checked into a room with double queens located on the 38th floor. It turned out the room had a strong cigarette smell, even a no -smoking was requested at time of booking. Also there was a very strong smell of marijuana in the hall way. We then requested for a room change. We got moved to another room on 36th floor. We checked into our new room and found someone used eyelash laying on the bathroom countertop. Also the room appeared as unclean and didn’t appear to have been sanitized. As a result we decided to cut our trip cut to one night instead of three nights as originally planned.
It would have been a perfect stay but not everything was open due to Covid. We stayed in a stay well room which was very nice and spacious. My wife loved the huge bathroom with spa tub! It was a very enjoyable stay!!!
My how Covid has changed this hotel 😩
We have been regulars at this hotel on and off during the years since it’s opening. We were given an average room, and we were greeted the next morning with jackhammering directly above us. No mention of construction upon check in and I believe they expected us to tolerate this for the next three days. After numerous phone calls and unavailable managers, we finally were able to change rooms. I will NEVER stay here again. Congratulations Bellagio, you are now the new Circus,Circus of the strip.
Disappointment over lack of iconic Fountain music in resort rooms.
My wife and I and friends have visited Bellagio often, even several times during the pandemic. It has always been our resort of choice during our visits to LV. The Conservatory and the fountains with the scycronized music could not be matched, until recently. We would never have considered another Vegas property. However beginning in Dec. of 2020 the property stopped playing the fountain music in the resort rooms as it always had. This coincidently is the time that a new president, Ann Holt, took over the resort. Since then we have visited Bellagio in Jan and again in April. During each visit we have attempted to find out why the music is not available in the resort rooms. We have never been given a straight answer, only double talk. In our opinion the only thing that separates the Bellagio from all of the other mega resorts in Vegas is the iconic fountains with the sycronized music. Without the music, the fountains aren't iconic, and without the fountains Bellagio is no better than the others. If you have stayed there before and enjoyed the fountains and their music as much as we did I would consider this before booking another visit.
