Went for a week as there is no lack of things to do in Vegas. Saw Vegas Knights Hockey Game, Jeff Dunham and Sema. Love this hotel as the staff are friendly and helpful. Love the Fountains and Conservatory. Will be back !!!!
To stay at the hotel was a pleasure in its self but there were a few let downs, The circus 'O' was very good and was a fabulous experience, there were a few times were there was a lot of smoke in the Casino but it didn't effect me to much.
The Best Hotel in Vegas
The Bellagio is, in my opinion, the best hotel in Vegas. It offers everything you need; shopping, great food, spa, the most comfortable beds and actual wins on the slots. The atmosphere and the guests are even better than other hotels! Your stay will be worth every penny.
Good, not great
The pillows are way to hard, there is no robe in the room, and the air conditoner/heater works okay. The toilet made a gurgling noise during the night. The mobile check-in process was GREAT, and would highly recommend folks to use that.
Bellagio is showing its age
My family stayed at the Bellagio to celebrate my father's birthday over the Veteran's Day Weekend. The check-in line was long and it took the check-in staff about 15 minutes to get our information and the keys to our room. I booked the rooms through The Luxury Hotel and Resort Collection. We are supposed to get upgraded rooms if available but we were assigned rooms overlooking a tree on the 5th floor. The room size was ample but dated. Furniture and the bathroom appear well worn. Flat screen TV is small. When I tried to use the phone to call for reservations, it was always busy and a long wait. The bathroom amenities are pretty lacking for this level of hotel. Coming from non-smoking California, the hotel smelled of smoke any near the casino. The newer properties do not smell of smoke at all and Mandalay Bay does a great job of hiding the smoke smell for an older property. Sadelle's was fine for breakfast but I recommend using the MGM app to make reservations the night before to avoid a long wait in line. The Buffet for breakfast was mediocre and I would save the money and eat somewhere else. My 14 year old daughter left her small purse with less than $20 on her chair and when we went back 5 minutes later, it was already gone. We were seated in the corner and her chair was in a spot that a guest walking by would not have been able to see it. The staff did not make much effort to find it and the front desk staff appeared annoyed. It wasn't the monetary loss but the fact that the staff would take it. My daughter was sad about losing her purse as there were some personal belongings that she cherished. Spago's food is ok and not worth the price. The staff was fine but not as attentive as one would expect from a restaurant that charges such exorbitant prices. Bellagio Patisserie had a long line with ridiculously expensive prices for breakfast. The breakfast sandwich is no better than Starbucks but costs 3 times as much. Crepe was too sweet and omelette was ok. At check-out, the line was super long and it took me 45 minutes to get to the counter. I would have checked out online or in the room had there not been an issue with the bill. All in all, not a very good stay and I would not recommend staying at Bellagio. There are other properties that are now above the Bellagio in every way. Management needs to revamp this hotel.
