Beautiful place to stay
Loved the Kennebunkport Inn! We traveled into Maine from New Hampshire. We like to stay in lovely spots, Kennebunkport Inn, is a beautiful spot. Clean, cozy, and the staff, were wonderful humans. Susie and Winston
We had the most wonderful visit at the Kennebunkport Inn. The main lobby is beautiful, the hotel staff perfect and accommodating, and the room was absolutely gorgeous. Our beds were amazing and we slept soundly. Great shower! No noise anywhere! All said, an amazing stay and we will definitely go back if we can get a reservation!
Have had better service at Marriot for half the price.
While the location is beautifully unique, the Inn itself is not much different than a lot of other hotels. The décor is charming and quaint, but the overall experience wasn't anything I couldn't get elsewhere for half the price. Also, while I was there a member of staff hung the breakfast bag over my service room door hanger, so my room wasn't cleaned. It would seem that the staffer should have had enough common sense to realize that they shouldn't block the service hanger. By the time I arrived back to my room there was no staff to be found anywhere, because they leave at night. I had to wash my coffee cup in the sink so I could have coffee the next morning.
New England at its Best
Get yourself to the Kennebunkport Inn - no matter the time of year! My experience over Christmas was exceptional and magical - room amenities are fabulous as is the room decor and also throughout the entire building. It is a treat of a lifetime!
Cozy and Festive
When we began looking at potential New England towns to book my husband’s annual birthday trip we turned to Kennebunkport for its quaintness and holiday spirit. Although COVID had quite the impact on the town (many shops and restaurants were shuttered or had abbreviated hours) the Kennebunkport Inn was so cozy and festive. Holiday decorations were abundant both inside and out. The staff stayed in contact with us prior to, during, and following our stay to make sure that we understood COVID protocols, virtual check-in procedures, assisting with concierge-type needs and they left a bottle of wine and a Prelude ornament in our room as a kind birthday gesture. We had arrived late due to a nor’easter and had to cancel our dinner reservation in one of the Gondola’s at the imm but despite this dining option being “full” on Open Table, the staff was able to accommodate us the next day (and even surprised us with a complimentary glass of champagne on our table when we arrived). Although the menu was small, all offerings were great, we particularly enjoyed the lobster dip and perogies. Complimentary hand sanitizer and masks were available throughout the inn and in our room. COVID protocols were strictly followed. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Because of COVID we spent a large amount of time at the imm sitting by the fire in our room, outside or in the common areas. The trip was exactly what we were looking for- cozy, quiet, festive and romantic. Bravo Kennebunkport Inn, we will certainly return and have already recommended it to our friends and family!
